Does Kizaru pretty much only run shooters and slashers? It seems a shame to restrict oneself to the types Kizaru gives orbs to, given he can boost anyone. But full board manipulators who hand out psy orbs seem rare.

If I'm running dex, qck, or str captains I can often use Hawkins and move shit around with Doffy. Or in the case of Blackbeard and Cavendish, I can often use the Lao G + Shiki combo.

But with Kizaru I have no idea how the fuck I'd get orbs unless I were to purely run shooters and slashers.

Final chapter of Tower of Law/Gates of Justice. I tried cheesing it with double doffy + coffin boat but Lucci appears in like round 4 and does 90% hp cut if you don't one shot him.

I don't think Croc's special would help that much with clearing trash. I farmed the save ace event with Shiryu and aside from Cavendish I found Doffy the most helpful in clearing the waves. For one his ATK is monstrous, and two you can use his special for some burst. I suppose you don't really need pre-boss burst outside of the save ace event though, unless you're doing Buster Call I guess but you wouldn't run Shiryu for that anyway.

You could also consider Maynard or HW Zoro if you need a delayer although neither have high HP.

You have no way of getting orbs. The orb boost doesn't matter. At least with Doffy you can shuffle shit around so you don't necessarily need an orb generator.

You should only use legend Marco over PSY Marco if you have Kizaru and actually anticipate a need to burst something. Otherwise you are far better off with PSY Marco to take an extra hit or two, as it may be required depending on your luck with Shiryu.

If you genuinely believe that QCK Marco is a better Shiryu sub than PSY Marco there's probably nothing I can say to convince you otherwise because you have brain problems.

As I said earlier, I farmed save Ace with double Shiryu and the nature of that event meant that occasionally you did need to burst before the boss. However Doffy was enough. You certainly didn't need an orb boost from your fucking healer, because by the time you needed to heal you were at the boss you intended to OHKO already anyway.

Croc can survive a hit with Kalifa, but he has to sacrifice the second orb boost from Shanks to do it.

There are plenty of scenarios where a two-turn burst with Croc is viable though. He can burst both bosses in a colo for example, he can burst a boss then burst the revive. Having 1HP as you burst is not really an issue except in forests. And we all already know Croc is garbage for forests.
