The greatest trick Blizzard pulled was convincing everyone that PVP servers are the "default" for everyone and not just career gankers and PVPers. The memories of epic Hillsbrad fights and whatever are a drop in the ocean, 99% of "world PVP" is just dying with the odds stacked against you so much there's no point in even fighting back. You might as well simulate it with a random instakill on a 15 minute timer. It's exponentially more absurd on a server with a very un-blizzlike peak population of 9000.
