If your renderscale is not at 100% wow will render a bigger or smaller image which it has to resize to fit your screen. Resizing a post processing can fuck up your image quality.

Ok, so, first of all, I set my anti aliasing to off, and it does seem to help a little bit.

One thing that is weird though is that when I turn on my monitor, there is a small window that pops up briefly telling me the res, which is 1920-1080 with 60hz. but when I set my desktop res to 1920-1080, it shows up on my screen nicely but it seems a little bit too big, pushing a little past the edges of the screen.
so because of that, I had to set my desktop res and wow res to 1776-1000.

I changed the refresh rate of the monitor to 60hz, and 59hz in wow but its hard to tell what will give me the best results. any thoughts?

Ok I finally got my desktop's resolution to match my monitors. now have wow running at 1920 as well and everything looks very clear and sharp, and the framerate is at an acceptable number.

my last issue from I guess is that there still seems to be a very very slight lag or skip when I'm for instance moving forward on my mount and the foreground seems to have a delay every millisecond; its not fluid like the animations for models are for me now.
it can be described as a quick tiny flicker when I'm moving, and I can even see it now as I scroll down looking at my text, a tiny little flicker of the pixels/text as I move it and then stop, it jiggles.
any idea on how to fix that issue?

why is it so difficult to kill male pandaren? i have been killing horde in borean tundra right now for a few hours as a lvl 70 paladin, but wheneverr i come across a pandaren guy i cant bring myself to deliver the killing blow. btw im having a rlly good time right now, just had a rogue fight me while i danced with shield of vengeance and he died in an explosion after the dmg got absorbed. also the execution sentence talent is pretty funny to use on low hp enemies and wave goodbye to them

Prot honestly, I main the spec but even still it's super quick just leaping and mass pulling shit. Might have changed somewhat with the ignore pain 33% nerf back at launch and 7.1.5 changes though, but shouldn't really hurt you that much.

Resto shaman healing is probably like the only fun healing spec.

Every other healing spec in the game is "Here sweetie, let me put this bandage on you" while resto shaman is literally shitting green laser beams of pure healing and dropping healing jizz on everybody when the boss is being an asshole and giving everybody periodic damage. It's damage specs are also pretty fun.

If you're bored with DK, then shaman is definitely a better choice. Only downside is you're not a class that can do all three roles.
