As Zestiria is discounted currently, I am debating getting it however I do see a lot of mixed reviews for it. Is it worth playing?

I would personally only bother with the game if you can get it for around $5 or so. The biggest problem with the game is that its story and characters are uninteresting/underutilized.

Played Vesperia before and really liked it. Never played any other tales games, but I just bought Zestiria. I'm going to play through it anyway but how good is it? How does it compare to Berseria?

Just got past the first chapter in Berseria.

My only Tales games were Phantasia and Symphonia. Is there a soul weapon in this game similar to Symphonia? I feel like it would contradict the weapon grinding if there was.

i personally like the gear mastery system, it gets you a ton of very good passive abilities that stack, but like, weapons and equipment feel so weak and useless

when are there super duper ultimate weapons that are worth getting to +10

Question about Eizen, I love fist characters, so I swapped to him as soon as I got him, but he just seems so much weaker than Velvet.

What are some baby combos that I want to be doing, I feel like I'm not building stun enough and because of that I'm getting stunned a bunch.

Its not that he's weak, its that Velvet is literally broken I'm fine with this, she deserves it.

I found Eizen to be at a huge disadvantage early on for being unable to R2 freely. Later on he gets martial artes that help with this, especially one where he punches the ground and its 80% a down for enemy/boss and then you can R2. Also later on when character switching becomes available you'll be able to do switch attacks. Said switch attacks, depending on which character does them also down the enemy, something Eizen can use to R2 immediately once he's in. Other than that I haven't experimented too much in good combinations because i feel his default ones do the job for now and I feel I wanna see everything 1 character has to offer 1st then move on to others else I'll get really confused. So for now Velvet with him on sub and using him for character switching makes him literally a reaper.

Well I've actually died as Eizen. Forcing me to swap back to Velvet. Which I feel like shouldn't happen on Hard.
