I see them as two different games. I enjoy souls style of combat a lot, and would be dissapointed if it became like Nioh.
Nioh on the other hand feels very similar to ninja gaiden to me. I would want some of the combat mechanics on Nioh to be improved somewhat, mostly to make boss fights more fun and less cheesing.

If Dark souls were to implement Gore, I would want the gore to be like bloodbornes, not Niohs. Nioh is very very little, I see more blood at my work then I see in this game.

So most of you guys like myself probably are under the impression that earth elemental doubles the consumption of ki for the enemy affected based on. I figured that this is actually really stupid because it would be less effective against enemies with slower attack speeds (EX: Axe skeleton yokais and axe wielding revenents). As such, I tested out what earth element actually does on the 2nd Onryoki instance(third region) and concluded that earth elementals actually doubles your ki damage rather than doubling the ki consumption of your enemy. This actually makes a lot more sense and makes the element much more viable since the effectiveness of the debuff isn't tied to enemies attack speed. :)

Naginata. It's the only major Japanese weapon we don't have yet. Swords, we got, spears, we got, axes and hammers, we got. Sure there are tonfa and nunchaku but those are Ryukyuan/Okinawan and thus haven't much to do with Sengoku Japan. Kanabo I guess could have a chance but I have no idea why they wouldn't just use the axe or sword moveset for them.

More whimsical stuff like claws, staves, and the like will probably come later with the Osaka DLCs.

I'm not having fun with LW at all. Sure I get about 30-40mils amritas per run which normally takes about less than 10 minutes but fuck it was a chore.

Damage for anything and everything ninjutsu is hilariously shit. Only go with the damage up mystic art if you're respeccing into an Infinite Gun Works build. Otherwise go with the instant cast mystic art if only to make your life easier and turn Quick Change talismans into emergency buttons rather than 'better safe than sorry' preparations.

The levels you destroy crystal shards on. A good level for this is The Fallen Onmyo Mages as the literal map objective is to destroy said crystal shards.

1kat is pretty basic in LW form, but it doesn't have good cancel abilities so you might get caught in a combo by unbroken yokai and they'll knock your shit around.

If you plan to stay 1kat, then spamming LW buttons while in LW will summon your Spirit Guardian. If you're using Phoenix this pushes enemies around and drains their ki a lot so it makes it a lot easier for you to use combos.

Myself, I use the kusarigama when LW because I can still use the weapon skill Blade Spin which I abuse the shit out of because it uses the Sickle (My weapon mystic art empowers this) and makes me do a roll so I get a lot of movement control while I damage enemies. Combined with 1kat's mystic art for bonus back damage it doesn't take long to just spam kill yokai with it.

I just went to the level to test it out myself. For reference, it's in the 3rd region Kinki Region.

On NG+ I got about 6-7 from speedrunning and only focusing the large shards, took me maybe 1-2 minutes. The shards I got were a mix of small and normal size.

I accidentally fell down a hole at the end before I could exit, but in the cave I found a summoner's candle, shinobi box, Saisetsu-shin's Sake, and himorogi branch.

Eh. Windstorm is nice burst damage but its Ki usage is a lot more. Learn to properly position yourself and you'll get more damage in the longhaul with water swords DPS. Its easier to cancel and back out of to so you can watersword the entire time it would take to do 1 1/2 windstorms, where you'd get hit and suffer for your timing.
Do it right and you basically go from water sword to pulse II/invincible dodge to watersword on the slightly slow enemies. Quick ones just god of wind then prep watersword before they get up.

A Request from Ginchiyo I compared it's payout to other short fetch missions that are quick to complete. It has a very high payout, and the route to the random chest spawns is always the same, and easy to follow.

Well realistically, it depends on who I want to farm for a fucking text. Eee for his spear, or Otani for any text he's willing to drop.

I actually don't like Otani's hat. I get the train was for a moth-wing motif as a quasi-yokai boss, but I like the Strategist burqa better.

Don't know what my stats were at the time of that webm but I'm 99 dex and 78 skill right now, and with my full iga set + points/etc at about 680 ninjutsu power.

One thing I will say though is to make sure you get all the weapon passives that might benefit you if you're not using your own weapon that much. I mainly use 2kat/kusari on this build but I don't use their full skillset, so I leave a lot of their moves locked while keeping some core moves and putting nearly the rest of my points in misc passives that are shared among weapons (and kunai even).

Anyways the gear now is all 150+10 iga set with 5% unlimited ninjutsu rolled on each piece along with two 5% accessories, one of which also gives +8 ninjutsu power. Clan is Furuta.

That video original is 1 minute and 15 seconds long.
This one showcased all 3 spawn locations of the chest.
More often then not, the chest will appear in one of the first two locations, making the whole run only take 20 seconds.
Every 20 seconds without loading screens, I gain 111k gold and 140k amrita. Not sure if that payout is affected by stats, but that's a lot of gold and amrita for that short time, where the divines I sell only go for a couple thousand and I could spend hours farming revs just for 111k gold.
