/aog/ is a place to primarily discuss Attorney Online but also Ace Attorney in general.
Whether you want to talk about your favourite cases, your favourite characters or anything else AA related, it's all welcome here.
>What is Attorney Online?
In short: It's multiplayer Ace Attorney.
AO is a virtual chatroom/courtroom mix which we use to perform improvised AA-like trials, Civil Cases, Class Trials, Jury Cases and more! Choose from a wide selection of AA characters (and guest characters), pick a position (Defence, Prosecution, Judge, Witness, etc.) and dive into a whirlwind of logic, banter, theories and memes.

>This eight hour long father-son argument case
What a case to come back to after a year. It's been a rollercoaster, and I swear I can see the end on the horizon. This Miles refuses to yield on any point (his asspull has been bombproof), and this Greg just won't quit (he keeps finding enough contradictions to continue), whilst the Judge is lying back and soaking it all in.
Passive prosecutors lately.
I CAN'T BELIEVE EMA FUCKING KILLED NEILL

To the person that made buttons for Gina and EmaSoJ, can you do the same for Susato?
so does everybody always play the same character or what
like am I supposed to pick something someone never uses

Nah choose whoever you want, mate.

There are so called "character mains" who only play (and idle) on certain characters, so good luck playing as the following:
Apollo
Alba
Jinxie
Marsh
Adachi
Pearl (either version)
Raymond
Blackquill
Komaeda
Kay
Klavier
Gina
Susato
Nikomina
>>169395614
HOLD IT!
While it's true there are people who idle on characters, and that shouldn't be encouraged...
If they're not playing in the case, you are free to call a mod to get them kicked off!
>>169395614
Alba is tree's main but I don't think he is around enough to say "good luck playing as".
Also I don't see anyone mains Jinxie.
>>169396519
*I don't think
>>169396384
OBJECTION!
Kicking off idle players is fine, Wright. However.
Kicking someone off a character who isn't idle is strictly prohibited by the rules!
>>169396519
>Also I don't see anyone mains Jinxie.Luv
>>169396720
GAH!
Hold it! If they're there, can't you just ask them to get off?!
>>169396835
Doesn't he main Pearls?
>>169396870
And if they simply refuse?
Well then, I guess you're stuck picking Moe.
>>169395614
What
Ray and Apollo are always free whenever I want to jump on either.
>>169396985
OBJECTION!
(Namedrop): I forgot, if you ask someone who is not in the case to give you a character and they refuse can you call a mod on them?
(Another Namedrop): Yes.
Nice avatarfagging, lads.
>>169397227
OBJECTION!
(Namedrop 3): No?
(Another Namedrop): Oh wait.
(Another Namedrop): I misread that as AFK.
(Namedrop 3): if they are not afk then no.
TAKE THAT!(Another Namedrop): ^

/v/ is doing a twitch stream. Anyone care to join?
>>169397495
If someone's not participating in the case, you can ask them to change characters. If they refuse, you can call a mod on them to force them off that character so you can use it.
>>169403073
>If they refuse, you can call a mod on them to force them off that character so you can use it.
You absolutely cannot do this.
>It's an Ember case
Goodbye.
>>169405127
Dad pls.
anyone streamin'?
>>169385498
You should include a link to the latest AO 2.x release in the OP.
>>169403649
You absolutely can do this and if you don't believe me call a mod.
>>169354634
Anyone got the link to the Attorney Online 2.x.x doc?
>>169407237
>>169403649
I don't really think it's any kind of formal rule either way, it'd really be up to the mod's digression. But you guys are all pretty good about keeping things civil (ingame) so I don't think it's ever been an issue, usually goes
>Hey is someone on X?
>Yeah
>Can you switch off I want to use them in the case.
>Sure
Could this be allowed to be added so we have a real thought route for Feen?
>download AO2
>this program cannot be started because BASS.dll is missing from your computer

Put a Strawpoll in the doc.
>>169409834
Technically this wouldn't need to be strawpolled, it's just a simple emote for an existing character.
But I could strawpoll just to see if people like it?

Cool. That worked, thanks!
The thread fell off too easily yesterday.
Case ideas being thrown around in Area 3, come check it out.
Maybe don't post this thread for three months, act like this never existed, then post a thread on /v/ from scratch.
Am I the only one that gets autistic over the fact that we'll never have proper support for the 20 pixels at the bottom of the screen that are cut off by the chatbox by default?
Reminder that a man's life is at steak

This looks bad, I know, but...
Anyone got any ideas of how to unbreak this arm?
It looks like it's bent backwards, but I don't know how to do the perspective so it looks more towards the camera, rather than away from it.
>>169425186
In the meantime here's some gifs I made
>>169426960
>>169425186
It looks too fucking short, the upper arm looks more like his shoulder.
Heres a little tip: Try bending your knees to your torso. You notice that its bellow the ribcage. If you straighten your arm to your side, you notice that your hand goes down to your upper leg, above the knee.
Basically, it looks way too short given the current angle and length of his pointing arm.
>>169427660
Really? I tried to have it the same end point as Miles. But I can kinda see what you mean.
>>169428035
Rays is a lanky man, I think you could get away with getting a lanky arm
>>169428259
S-So is it too short or not?
Plus, I'm not sure if the arm length is the ENTIRE problem.
If you look at miles, it has a perspective that goes more towards the camera, but I haven't a clue how to emulate that.
Doesn't help that Ray's cuffs are pulled up.
>>169428526
You "might" be able to use mile's arm as a reference, and if it's pointed towards the camera then that can solve your issue of the arm length being short. If you take a look at his right arm which is slightly to the side, you notice that the cuffs go lower than the cuffs on the pointing arm.

SFV is a shit game and all real SF games allow you to stuff Raging Demon with SRK.
Here's a new template for whose line, just to make it more organized, if anyone is interested.

For me I didn't mind much, and it was still a decent game, but I do agree 1 was better. But you can't really deny the quality really plummeted when 3 rolled around, and 4 is a joke.
