They're doing a rule change up where the amount of extra deck monsters you can summon is getting super limited. Instead of infinite ED summons, you have to summon Link monsters and they give you adjacent spots to place ED monsters on.

The vengeance mechanic in general should be reworked as follows:

Instead of always being a 10 hp threshold, vengeance should be a counter of how much hp you are missing and the trigger amount can then vary by card. E.g. If you're at 17 hp you have vengeance 3 and can trigger cards with vengeance 3 or less as their condition. This way you can have a way more varied and interesting amount of vengeance cards. A card like cursebrand vampire or whatever its called is so pointless right now because when is +1/1 on a 1 drop going to help if you're under 10? But if you made it vengeance 2 in the new system, maybe it could serve a purpose.

Having 10 hp be the trigger for every vengeance effect is super limiting and boring. Imagine how strong you could make a vengeance 19 effect? Or, really low vengeance effects that are weak but give a slight advantage.

There should also be cards that interact with vengeance. E.g. Increase vengeance counter by 3 while this follower is on the field. Or, a lategame card with fanfare to permanently increase vengeance. Or, a meme card that gives you 20 vengeance at 20 hp but 0 vengeance at any other hp.

The possibilities are endless.

Well my gameplan is to usually try to take the opponent down to 9 so I only ever need 1 Bolt but if that doesn't happen and he doesn't concede, I'll just take my loss like a man. It's kind of sub par. It basically suffers from being a little bit worse than just about all the other win conditions.

That said, I might actually give it my vote of most underrated win condition in the entire game. Because sub par or not, drop Rose Queen with fairies in your hand and survive to the next turn and you have won.
She is also fairly unexpected so you can often catch a lot of people off guard as they play to defend themselves against other more common win conditions.

Save her. She is adorable.

Better to use Sister because you're putting a body on the board at the same time. The only time it's really worth it is if you get the ideal curve (turn 2 Aria, turn 3 Birdsong) so you can count both of them down on turn 4 to get a good board. Even then it's better to play bald man if you're going 2nd to clear the board.
