This "drama" isn't something that will have an immediate effect. For now, as long as the servers are up, most people don't care. Just wait a few months till AQ still isn't out and bug fixes continue to be non-existent and the average player (who "doesn't care" about the drama) starts questioning the devs. It's just a slippery slope from there. Plus this is the only halfway decent vanilla server with good pop so obviously people will keep playing if they have no other options.

Attunement for MC is just a quest you pick up on the way to BRD. The quest itself requires you to bring back a rock fragment from outside the entrance to MC, which is after the 7 dwarves if you're doing a full run, or after the lava jumping if you're doing a lava/emp run. Instead of entering the Lyceum, look for fire elementals. Once you're attuned you just talk to the elf guy to enter the raid.

Rep grinding is only necessary for quintessences, which are used to help summon the final boss. You need 8? between your entire raid, and you can't grind it solo, so you shouldn't really worry about it that much. If you wanted to start the chain to get your quintessences eventually, you should talk to the elemental at 79,73 in Azshara (small island in the ocean).

Naw, try to do both. ZG has a ton of BiS gear, so it's worth trying even if you get a shitty group that only kills a few bosses. Most pugs were able to get up to Jin'do when I played on Nost, not sure how the pug scene is on Anathema nowadays. Guild groups should be able to easily clear it.

Get all the gear you need from dungeons while doing a little pvp especially on alterac valley weekends because of how many good pieces come from pvp reputation. Once you do the attunments to ony/MC/Bwl then apply to join a raiding guild. Playing as a trial in a guild means less chance of loot than with pugs but you build friendships, clear raids much faster and once you become a trusted member of the raid team you'll get much more loot than you would in pugs. You should get into raiding before MC and ZG but it's fairly easy to pug ZG if you want to.

If you're in a shitty guild, then yeah. But if you're in a decent guild, they'll care more about your performance and how to make the raid as a whole better. I hardly said a word in my last guild but I got my fair share of loot because I was one of the top DPS. Put in the work to get your preraid BiS gear (google search for your class, or check the elysium forums), bring consumables, don't fuck up, and you'll get loot.

It's fun to push clear times down. And if we ever get to Naxx or AQ40, gl clearing it with a casual guild. Hardcore guilds can also be social.
