Try and play footsies on the ground. Contrary to what a lot of people think at first; Millia's air mobility is mostly used for re-positioning herself around the screen so she can get into a position where it is more favorable for her to play her footsies game, air approaches are not your go to strategy as her. Of course Hairpin is extremely strong and is your main offense tool from the air; as it will beat anti airs and if it counter hits it staggers them and leads to a combo. DPs still beat it but they have to made a hard read because it's extremely risky.
Millia has VERY solid buttons and they cover almost every situation and the ones they don't cover are covered by her mobility. However her normals are only good in rather specific areas so it can be hard to know when exactly to use them compared to some other characters, you really make use of your entire toolset in a match. I think Millia doesn't have too much trouble with Elphelt on the ground, 2D especially is fantastic against her. You should frustrate the Elphelt into approaching you from less favorable positions, Millia is good because she forces you to play her game due to her mobility. I'm not saying that air approaches are bad though, hers are still as good as a lot of characters but there is a tendency to think she is an "aerial" character just because she has a lot of movement options.
The match up can be quite frustrating because of how much damage she does, she can absolutely SHRED Millia to pieces if she gets a good hit, a lot of Millia players hate the MU. As far as gun goes, you are fast as fuck, it shouldn't be hard for you to outmaneuver the reticle and just dash up to her, she has some pretty bad recovery on gun. Also in case you didn't know, she can't block while in shotgun stance. Lastly if you are trying some midscreen throw combos on her, I believe they are unstable as fuck on Elphelt and rarely worth it, not 100% sure on that since I switched from Millia to another main.

I think the new characters they did put in sfv are terrible, probably my favortie thing about the game is the way they redesigned classic characters like balrpg, guile and ken. I guarantee sfv will still be shit even after this season of all new characters.

SNK made a patch for KoFXIV that pretty much fixed the graphics. They added lighting, and everything looks much better. Maybe still not perfect, but a definite improvement. Without just making a sequel to fix this.
But they fucked up on release… I don't think this will matter. Most don't even care about the game anymore, SNK made a laughing stock of themselves. What kept them from making the game like this on release?… Feels bad.

You can't save on graphics and oresentation. I'd understand if they saved on characters, modes, extra content, and such. I'd accept it, everyone does that because it's 2017. But it's like they didn't understand that their game looked like total shit where it mattered—in previews, trailers and so on. They simply got laughed off and made a meme out of themselves.

gg's nights, i'm so fucking sorry your first kof14 experience was those first 5 matches, but that's kof netcode for you. honestly i'm surprised it got better, the real kof experience when i was playing was play 3-4 okayish to laggy games, then get kicked offline. lag really fucks this game over tho, there goes short hops/dashes/anything harder than auto pilot or hit confirm max combos out the window, and zoning becomes 3x realer.

it is fun when it works tho. i forgot everything about kyo/geese/meiten/meui, and my robert and mature felt off. good thing king and verse play themselves :^)

Hitbox is a brand of "stick" that uses buttons for directional inputs. It is mainly EXTREMELY useful for doing 360 and 720 inputs and shit since you can do them perfectly using the input shortcuts with enough practice. People think it's cheating because it allows shit liek 720 and there was even an FG that let you block left and right at the same time which can't be done on a normal stick or controller
