You block as fast as anyone else. Heck you shut down warden vortex because you can just all-block when he finishes his shouldercharge on you and it's fast enough to block follow-up swings.

All-block to stop infinite assassin combos.

If anyone throws out a heavy against you they're fucked because you literally just need to block it to get the equivalent of a parry.

Doesn't matter if anyone dodge your shieldcharge because it's 100% safe. You can also mix-up with guardbreaks.

The trick is to use one of the backgrounds for the bottom diamond because you need two layers for two thin lines (one line grows too fat if you expand it to the length it needs to be so you need to use two)

The rest is self explanatory. Inverted pentagon for negative space on the top, ontop of a rotated diamond, and another diamond for negative space on the bottom.

Strawpoll has never been a good way to measure anything because of how easy it is to fuck with strawpoll. The Japs were 2 tiles from being wiped off the map, and suddenly they just took over everything. That means one of two things. Either something is wrong with the system, or they have a massive advantage in numbers of people now so it doesn't matter if they're good or not - they simply have more deployments being pushed out. This whole map war thing is a joke, really. It comes down to who has the most people in the faction.

Reminder to people who want to play Berserker.

Don't spam spin.
Don't just go for side-dashes.
You can feint everything with a dash.
If you parry, go for a side or backwards GB push. You do damage through that.
The "infinite attacks" are honestly detrimental to look at. Your best way of attacking, as in the safest, is to play passive, parry and then do damage and attack after a GB push.

If you go up against a Lawbringer, Kensei, Raider, Nobushi or Valkyrie - don't try to GB after parry. The majority of times, you won't get it unless you've pushed them up against a wall. Kensei, LB and Nobushi are guaranteed to not work unless you've literally pushed them into a corner.
Hope that they are shit.
Cry a lot because all of those characters counter you hard unless they're bad, just because of how reliant Berserkers are with GBs and controlling movement.

The round still has enough time left for the bullshit nonsensical boosts to mix up the board, and even then, there's 4 rounds left after it.

So either Ubisoft is lying, which is entirely possible, or Knight players just don't give a shit and don't distribute any of their assets.

I'm honestly leaning towards the former. There's no possible way for the weebs to have five goddamn times the land the knights do and not have there be an outlying reason for it other than laziness on the Knight's part.

Well, I see it like this. If they're playing something like a Warden, Kenshi, Peacekeeper, Orochi or whatever. If they feel the utter need to push you back towards a pit to ledge you off then I'd be a bit salty because those characters truly and thoroughly don't need to do that. They're well deadly without it.

If they go into Duel mode with Lawbringer, Raider, Conqueror or someone like that - I don't mind it too much. Those characters have their entire kits built around suppressing and controlling rather than straight up killing power so I don't mind if they ledge me.

But hey, maybe I'm just open-minded and stuff. I mean, I main Berserker so maybe I have an easier time understanding where they're coming from, playing something that doesn't have innate killing power without an absurd amount more work put in than the killing classes.

Raider has some actual mixups though, and his feint game is really fucking monstrous once you get the hang of it. Especially since so many are conditioned to parry his unblockable, you can get half the game's cast to do exactly what you want and then when you do parry him, you have options.

A knight in full plate had absolutely 0 reason to carry around a shield.

Plate armor was actually more effective at stopping missiles because it had a layer of chain underneath. Anything that would go through all the layers that a knight wore would tear through shields like paper.

You are fully aware that, a shield was pretty much mandatory to bring into battle for the simple fact that even if you are wielding a full fuckoff plate armor - your man next to you might not be, and a shield can help protect your fellow man? More people alive equals higher chance of winning.
"Two-handed" swords were just hand-and-a-half swords or bastard swords if you prefer, and they aren't that much longer either, which means you need to get up close. In case you aren't aware, a shield is a elongated piece of metal attached to your arm so you can actually protect your arm from a sword-strike, so that you don't break your fucking arm upon impact.

I think you are confusing psuedo-history with actual history. It wasn't until hand-held gunpowder weapons became a thing where they threw off the armors and shields because the slugs would just eat straight through those things and you needed more mobility. Even then, sword and shield was still generally the norm. It wasn't until like, late Renaissance that people dropped the shield entirely because swordplay was slowly becoming moot and became more of a hobby.

When you get back, load up duel practice against a lvl 1 bot. Pick a character and focus on just learning that character until you can consistently beat that bot (3 wins in a row given the reduced health would be adequate, but I'm just spitballing). For now don't worry about follow-ups or mindgames, just try and get your mechanics down.

When that's done, remake with a lvl 2 bot, get to consistently beat that, and then do the same with a lvl 3 bot. By the time you can pull ahead of a level 3 bot, you'll be better than most of the playerbase.

If at any point during any of this, if you start getting upset, pause the game and take another walk or watch some Chinese cartoons. You can't get better if you're frothing at the mouth angry.

Warlord wouldn't be so bad if not for the shitty meta.

He's one of the most difficult characters to open up, and the best counter-punisher in the game.

Wouldnt be SO bad if you didnt get a free heavy off of all block, because that's just broken and encourages turtling the entire game.

Whenever i get paired with a shield class, I just quit, because they're no fun to fight against.
