The only two tank trinkets worth a damn are Grotesque and Darkmoon Card, neither of which are amazing in nighthold due to the fuck ton of magic damage going around.

if you had perfect gear and executed everything perfectly like a machine then no, it doesnt take a long time. the problem is mythic bosses are hard. mechanically complex, and any failure to react to them is really unforgiving. certain phases require serious synchronized use of cooldowns and raid coordination. you don't go into a mythic raid 1 shotting bosses unless you've cleared it before multiple times over months. you wipe a lot.

It's counter-intuitive anyway because I can't think of another that requires you to basically sit and freefall for any length of time and that whole quest is based around it. Not to mention the bubbles near the top that're so close together that you literally cannot avoid overshooting massively and ending up halfway between them. The only reason to follow the ones near the top is to know where the invisible reset walls are.

And all of that mixes into the odd bug that comes with all of the WQs of it's type, but normally they can be overlooked because it's not downright retarded in terms of design.

It's not really worth grinding AP until you're AK25 so for now I'd just say run LFR and do WQs for chances at titanforge. NH LFR also drops tier pieces. Also try to push a decent level mythic+ key every week for a high ilvl gear from your weekly chest.

For alchemy to be profitable you need to get rank 3 recipes which requires a fuckload of mats. That means a fuckload of gold.

Then you have to spam trade chat to buy cheap herbs or sit on AH to snipe cheap auctions. Craft flasks/pots, hope for procs and put stuff on AH on raid days.

It takes a lot of work and a lot of gold before you start seeing some decent money from alchemy. Meanwhile, skinning takes no investment at all. Pick it up, go grind falcosaurs and sell leather. 25k gold per hour, easily.

If you got alts and depending on your realm, you might consider crafting blue leather gear to either DE or obliterate. Enchanting mats are usually more profitable than obliterum.

Anyway, since you're asking about professions you probably don't know what you're doing and will fuck up alchemy. There's nothing to fuck up with skinning.

But the problem, at least from my experience the past few weeks, is that the only situation where you can take advantage of being ranged is if you end up queuing into something like an AV that ends up turtling, or in situations where you already outnumber the enemy so much that being ranged or not being ranged doesn't matter.

If feels like the second you enter any sort of even fight you lose all ranged advantage by virtue of how mobile a lot of the melee specs are.
