For anyone that's interested: Kritika Online is getting a US/EU release. Developed by All-M and published by En Masse. Basically it's a 3D DFO (rather than 2.5D like Closers Online). Been kinda sorta looking forward to this, personally.

Both version are the same, the only server is Pandora afaik and yes, there are still titles for breast size more specifically it's part of a quest where you need to gather x amount of different people with whatever attributes, one of which is breast size.

Hey guys, I really want to get into an MMO again, but the problem is that most of the MMO's today are all about that grind and late game, no MMO I encountered it about teh journey to end game anymore.

I used to play old WoW, Maplestory, Flyff and what not.
Those games were all about the road to max level, the adventures you had, the people you met.

Is there anything like this in todays market?

jToS is fucking great for the community alone if you happen to live in Asia or the Pacific. iToS is a poorly managed shitshow. Game is a comfy time waster with great music, but lacks any real depth. A lot of the problems from release have been fixed, but it's still buggy. At the very least the optimization has gotten a lot better. Also it's one long quest grind to end game so nothing at all like Ragnarok beyond the cute graphics and good sound track.

Lineage Eternal will have another Korean CBT soonish. I expect Korean release later this year and NA/EU release probably next year. Might take longer though. No official announcements.

Lost Ark will be another couple years at least before we get to play it.

You should play Grim Dawn if you want an arpg that isn't PoE. Or if you want an MMO you could play Mu Legend. CBT keys are easy to find in google. Honestly don't recommend it. Even when the slow shitty combat has its moments the game is still a boring quest grind.

MU used to be extremely popular, and a great game for it's time. MU Legend had potential, but it has a lot of shitty issues, like garbage servers, that they can't even fix, the engine itself is trash, using DX 9, and the game runs like assholes, even on good PCs, while looking ugly and plain. Then there's gameplay issues, that I don't even wanna get into. Gets me mad just thinking about it.

Do you guys think the best PC in the world can run BDO flawlessly, without the cancer popin, or is the game just like that?

Also, what do you think the questing system in an MMO should accomplish? Should it be mandatory to progress your character, or should grinding be the main point, and questing a side thing, like in BDO?

Game ran fine with my 770 and i5 4670. I never really noticed the pop-in beyond my first few hours playing. You just get used to it like the graphical quirks in most other games. Only quit playing because RNG upgrading is a nightmare and I can't nolife enough to stay competitive in pvp.

Since there's a pvp discussion going on, there's no pvp to talk about. Who hits first is pretty much guaranteed to win. But there is a lolopen world pvp option still. If you leave that on - say giant allied humans or their pet can be suddenly sniped without any agree window like with normal pvp by elves and elf-allied humans, same with dark knights vs paladins but nobody does this really.
Game is open-worldy in a sense there's a lot of tiny naive fascinating shit to find but only if you like this sort of thing, it's not n your face and it's all not that important in the end.
