When you open a chest, the contents have to be added to your account. This means the servers are contacted and sent this info.

Her poison bolts got stealth buffed, and her countdown reset legendary is not too bad, but the bonus damage from poison bolts is just better to use.

Tribes and Global Agenda got fucked over by meaningless updates at the end of their lifespan, and when they noticed that players in the game weren't taking their shit anymore, they just slapped on a P2W/grindy system and went away to make their next hopeless thing.

This is their standard business practice. Make a half-decent game, fund it in the necessary areas to generate hype and revenue (e-sports, advertisments, etc.) so it can have the whales and attention, then hamfist a P2W system to get those short bouts of cash before the game inevitably dies. Repeat this again, ad infinitum.

I like that you get more essence for dupes, that's a good thing, but you STILL have to realize that the essence gotten for dupes is too low for a new player to get stuff they want for a champ they want. How about this?

Epic cards give 2000 essence. Rare cards give 500 essence, and common cards give 200 essence. That's 40% of their values, and I feel this is MUCH more fair to new players. Then, all you have to do is lower the cost of legendaries to 12k, and we're golden. Then, even though you can't actually get cards for the champion you want (which I STILL think is very stupid for new players), you'll at least get a nice enough chunk of essence to get cards for the champ anyway

That's it. After that, this system could work fine.

I'd be hard pressed to say the game will recover from this. Changing prices won't make up for their arrogance throughout the whole process. Their fucked up their image even further by being stubborn and arrogant.
We hated it.

Their reputation regarding Paladins is now permanently tainted as well, as if the other two killed games of theirs weren't enough.
Myself, I wasn't part of the GA or TA fiascos, so I didn't really have any sort of bias towards LoRez, but this whole patch shitshow already left an unfixable bad taste in my mouth.
Such a shame, since I actually like the game a lot, but I guess ruining games with potential is part of LoRez's company policy.

I mean, it's good. Ya get some chests, and even if you get dupes, you'll be able to get most cards fairly fast. Neat. You can do achievements and shit to get essence even with a low amount of cards, you can earn like 400 gold per match, plus the extra 1350 per day, it's nice. Sweet.

I mean this solves it. What really, really angered me the most was how insanely little you got from common dupes, but now you get 250 and that's fine. You get 1250 from epics, and that's also fine, I mean, it's alright now I think.
