I loved playing sf4 I wasn't that great but I would put anywhere from 4 to 40 hours into that game grinding ranked. It felt good to steadily grow. I peaked at around 3k ppm.

In sf5 I just hate playing it. It's not fun and I mean sf4 could be very frustrating at times but it still felt great to win. I just can't find any enjoyment from sf5.

I thought I liked fighting games but I guess not. Probably going to just stick to dark souls or 4 honor

i can see where they were going with crush counters. it rewards proper normal spacing and lets you hard punish, but ideally the game shouldn't have the system in the first place and instead just have better hitboxes and rewards based on range and startup

CC is a way to casualize the neutral game. In 3S it's very hard to hit confirm pokes into super on reaction. In SF4 you're just poking each other so the better player will get more pokes in throughout the match. In SFV any idiot can get a crush counter and convert into big damage.
