Healer has Multi Avoid and Divine Armor which is what you basically need for defense. Since you don't have a Wizard, try to get the Wizard Support Set which has the magic resist spell and a magic debuff for enemies. Other than that, upgrading your equipment is the only way to reduce damage.

Even Neps have a lot of gameplay. Or did when I played PS3 trilogy. If you're serious about taking a dip to the Vita library, you have to try some games. You should try DRPGs. It's pure gameplay for the most part. DT2 is one of the best DRPGs on the system, but if you absolutely hate lewd fanservice it's not a game for you. There's a demo for it so if you aren't against it you should try that out.

If she's like that over Neps I doubt she'll be happy about DT2. You will be greeted by panties in the first five minutes. But no, DT2 is standalone so you don't need to play anything before that.

Stranger of Sword City might be more worksafe for you, but I can't really say anything about it since I haven't played it. But most people say it's good and there's updated version coming soon.
