At some point in time I just calculated the time until I get tech 13, consoled some gold away and calculated that amount for that long into a 1% compounding interest account. Loans are 8% so there is no way I wouldnt be able to get that much off my money. I also had like 8k at the time so I got like 13k off it.

it's quite a bit different. Victoria 2 is probably the most realistic and least gamey of the series. It only spans 100 years and the final outcomes generally seem plausible. There are neat economy, population, and production systems in the background. You get stats on like "11% of x's population is Korean, 23% Hawaiian, 50% Anglo Canadian", also there's a big restriction on blobbing. You have a bunch of other autistic tables and graphs like "11% of our country is liberal, 23% reactionary, 5% fascist, 8% communist, 40% conservative, 1% anarcho.-liberal, 2% communist" or whatever, and if you piss the right people off they'll try to implement communism and stuff.

Easiest nation to do it as, you have expansion into Odoyev/GH and depending on how Muscovy and the PLC are feeling you either ally Muscovy and claw your way south and west into Timmy, Otto, and Lith lands, then backstab them later since they're weak from you dragging them into all your wars, or carve up directly to moskva for an easy win. Odoyev is marginally harder, same shit as Ryazan but with the added caveat of having to build over force limit or develop a bunch for the initial expansion since that extra province Ryazan has makes a ton of difference in army size. Tver or Yaroslavl is probably the hardest, since Tver's only early expansion route is to fight Novgorod while Muscovy does and hope that Novgorod doesn't ignore Muscovy and stomp you instead, and then figuring out how the fuck you can get stronger when there's potentially a hostile Muscovy on all sides, or Yaroslavl's potential zilch LD meaning you eventually just get annexed.
