Seriously how the fuck do i GIT GUD at this fucking game. Like I win some and lose some, but sometimes I just get my ass handed to me.

I can stand and block 4 different attacks in a row, but whenever I try to get in a counter hit someone they STILL get a hit in, even i fucking blocked it.

I feel like when I win, its mostly cause I "get in the zone" and the opponent just fucking panics.

I main Lawbringer, and I noticed that I can deal with warden vortex with my shove. I decided to look into what other classes can do and compile a list of things that can counteract it so that people more easily deal with it. So far I have

Side dash + attack counters 2/3 outcomes, the only one it does not counter is cancel into parry, but 99% of wardens are not good enough to pull that off anyway

Quick top stun stops 2/3 outcomes again, with the warden having to cancel and parry one of the fastest attacks in the game

If you have super armor still up you can Demons Embrace straight into the warden. The bash won't stagger you and he can not do jack shit about it. It is a hot topic in the community so it is useful information for everyone to have.

I mean I'm not the best at fighting games but the git gud meme is pretty tiring. Comparatively looking at other fighting games this one lacks the depth of actual fighting games. Most people have two or three combos, and generally you wont be able to complete any of them against an actual good player because of the blocking/parry system in the game.

So yeah, nothing is comepletely broken but that doesn't mean the gameplay is already stale. Of course this is my opinion and not everyone will share the same one.

Berserker definitely feels like they need some sort of buff. Both other assassins have some form of unblockable and berserker's main gimmick is attacking so many times the enemy would be retarded not to parry you and their attacks (light or heavy) are the slowest of all of the assassins, in fact they're slower than Warden most of the time.

No seriously you should neck yourself. Any class that relies on winning a battle with a light attack is a detriment to the game. Looking at you roach, pk, nobushi, zerker and warden. You might be all "hurr burr but warden can just gb into side heavy confirm and roach can just gb into overhand heavy" but 80% of fights they wont, and dont. They either win by bleeds, light attack spam, or sanic zone attacks. "hurr burr but warden zone is unsafe on block!" but if you fucking parry me you can zone attack me instantly for free and you literally cannot reactionary block fast enough to stop it from hitting you.

Here's what needs to be done:
Lights cannot be parried (or if they can, they knock back the opponent far enough so that you cannot follow up on it).
Blocking lights works as normal, blocking heavies makes you receive half damage from chip.
Parrying costs significant stamina (at least 1/4th of a bar) but makes you receive no chip.
Blocking reduces your stamina by a set amount.
PARRYING REDUCES BOTH YOURS AND THE OPPONENT'S STAMINA
YOU CANNOT PARRY IF YOU WHIFF AN ATTACK, ONLY BLOCK
Deflecting works the same as parrying except it takes half the amount of stamina off of yourself and takes no stamina from the enemy
Guard breaks cannot be teched if you are in the middle of a heavy attack, dodge, or whiff an attack.
Guard breaks must be broken within 15f of the start of the attempt, cannot be mashed out.
Throws cost 1/4th of your stamina bar, if you do not have enough stamina and attempt a throw the guard break will automatically be broken.
Dodges do not cost stamina, but you cannot dodge while out of stamina.
YOU DO NOT GAIN REVENGE METER FROM BLOCKING, ONLY FROM RECEIVING DAMAGE, DODGING, OR PARRYING

It isn't always though. At high level play I don't see people outnumbered ever doing anything but dying. Once you understand the system you can almost guarantee the kill on them. The only reason people areally winning outnumbered now I'd because people are bad at just spam attacks from the rear.
