Of course, but the CV players prefer to pretend that everyone is always at 100% while running a full AA spec to justify their begginf for more buffs.

Most CVs ignore each other. Some shitter CVs attempt to CVcide by circleing along the map edge, thus effectively removing themselves from the fight.

Not forcing mirror CV MM would be great, but CVs are simply not balanced against AA, without mirror MM the team with a CV wins 80%+ of the games.

You can however use them to farm an additional FWOTD bonus and if they are of a higher tier than the ship your captain is specialised on, they will naturally earn more base XP, which is very important.

You can earn Premium time by taking part in PTs. Save these rewards for weekends and if possible, activate them such that the time covers two server days, so you can farm two sets of FWOTD bonuses. If you are buying Premium time, don't buy a shorter duration than 30 days, as they are poor value.

Submarines rarely if ever had a significant impact on the kind of surface engagements this game is based on.

Also, imagine a japanese destroyer with even worse guns (or rather gun) that has a top speed of 15 knots when surfaced and has a durability that will make the Pensacola look like the Yamato in comparison. You also only 4-6 bow torpedo tubes with extremely narrow firing angles and diving basically gives you a private smokescreen, but you can't move faster than 5 knots.

tl;dr: You are jap DD with less torpedoes, only one gun and it's slower than a Bogue.

It's the massive alpha gains the enemy team receives the closer you get to them; unless you fix that, then why would I (the average shitter on your team) push?

I don't desire closer ranges. I desire better range dynamics. Closer ranges are exciting, but getting those close ranges would require completely overhauling the game.

Battleships should be insanely strong up close if they can actually shoot at you. So should DDs. But DDs and Cruisers should be able to take out battleships as long as they stay far enough away, where the battleships can't hurt them because of the dispersion. The DDs and Cruisers would be able to do a lot more damage because of their high ROF and because the BBs wouldn't have large concealment radii.

The idea is that BBs right now have about a 15-20km exclusion zone where they can buttfuck you no matter what as long as you're in it. And they have the highest gun ranges, so not only can they always fire at you, they can absolutely demolish you if you're close enough to fire at them.

My change would highly decrease the accuracy of BBs against DDs and Cruisers from 8+ kilometers away, meaning that there becomes a little donut of space where a DD or a Cruiser can safely attack a BB and the BB can't easily hit them and oneshot them with alpha.

Your idea is literally changing BBs to deal less, but more consistent damage outside of their close-range annihilation zone, which no sane player would enter without assurance he can 100-0 the BB.
Why not just play cruisers at that point? You don't need moar HP to dodge shells, you have more utility in the form of consumables and you can already hit things rather accurately.

No, the meta will turn into what it's ACTUALLY supposed to be.

Destroyers (and CVs) spot the enemy team and allow BBs and Cruisers to hit them accurately. They also can get in close enough to BBs to take them out with torps.

Cruisers and other DDs try to take out the enemy DDs in order to neuter the enemy's BBs. After the BBs lose spotting, the cruisers, BBs, and DDs can take out those BBs.

BBs try to take out the enemy's cruisers so that they don't kill the DDs and lose the BBs spotting. They also try to kill the BBs who are trying to kill their cruisers and do the same in the other direction.

The game should always be cover-and-distance-control reliant. That's the only way the game is dynamic at all. But as it is right now, Battleships can take out any of the classes in the game from longer ranges and have tons of HP, making them clearly better than any other class. This change makes BBs much more reliant on their teams, because if they lose spotting, they die quickly.

I suggest go with MAA, as your primary weapons are much more durable than your AA guns, (remember there is only 8 of them) thus you will have better AA the longer battle goes on.
Alternatively you can go AFT+secondaries/AA durability module+PM This way you will have durable long range AA+good enough main guns for them to not break every 5 seconds.
