I just buy a regular laptop HDD and an enclosure. I spend about 25 bucks for both. Just make sure the enclosure has a y split USB cord. The HDD will need extra power to work with the wiiU. The drive in mine is some 500gb Toshiba, bought both off ebay.

Lol of course not, it's a wiiU. The USB ports don't have enough juice to do both data transfer AND power the drive. It will always try and spin up but fail. If you head over to Amazon and search up a y split cable, a majority of the reviews are about how it works for wiiU.
I had another enclosure that came with a y split USB cord but it just didn't work. The listing said it supports up to 500gb HDD and mine was 500. It worked but if you switched menus or had the wiiU reboot while doing rednand, the drive would fail to start up again. So don't go too cheap with the enclosure or just get a cheap one and buy a y split USB off amazon.

AFAIK This only applied to the Gateway, a 3DS flashcart that is being rampantly cloned since the cheeky chinks could afford only inventing ONE card and rest just clone it or nicer term is "are compatible"
Shit that is being trumped by CFW in all ways so you never need it - for DS no such worries should be needed, there is R4 models that would work even on vanilla 11.3 still today without CFW and even more that can be enabled to work with one. You do not need to break the bank as antipiracy updating isn't a hot feature you need anymore with DS these days (used to be a good reason to have flashcart that had some mad update speeds like cycloDS or Acekard2 and it's AKAIO aftermarket Firmware which is what WoodR4 is based off)
Get any one that is boasted to be current 3DS compatible - and discard any that boast being 3DS compatible too like newest supercard or something - don't get those, go for cheap.

Just installed and started playing paper mario color splash, game was working fine until I went into the left section of the town plaza and got this screen. I can open the menu on the game pad but there's a noticable slow down, and I can still walk around. When I went to the main plaza again it went back to normal but this one area seems to give a graphical glitch.
Anyone know what the problem might be? It installed fine
