I'm trying to install soundhax into my 3ds now, what do I do with the old files that are in my SD already? I have files that are in the new starter zip already in place at the root of the SD. Do I delete those or keep them at the root for now? (If so, which ones should I be deleting? There are a bunch of files, don't want to delete the wrong ones)

From what I remember, it only runs games off an SD card. Then you have to launch into it and select the game.
You also can't go online with any of the games. You can't unlock DLC either
Brazilian method lets you install games directly to your wiiU or USB drive. You can also go online no problem. Great for splatoon smash and Mario maker/mk8. You can download DLC and it installs the same way you install games.
Brazilian is just more cost effective in the end. I bought a 500gb HDD off ebay for 17 bucks and an HDD enclosure for 5. That's way more cost effective than buying a 128gb SD card for 30 or so bucks.

Yes, the program Wupinstaller allows the Brazilian method to work, and it can install on either the storage or the external device.
I'd highly recommend getting an external device, that way you get to keep all your games legit or not on one device. USB or HDD doesn't matter as long as there is plenty of space.

The Wii U port was my first time playing it. My first playthrough I thought it was pretty good.
Then I went through and played Bayo 2, MGR, W101, Transformers: Devastation and Madworld.
When I came back to Bayonetta and replayed it on Hard Mode with much more skill and understanding how to play, I thought it was great.
Then when I unlocked the parry I thought it was utterly incredible.
The QTEs and re-used environments are shitty but holy shit that combat and enemy encounters were incredible. What a fucking thrill-ride.

Yeah, no shit, that's not what I'm talking about.
You know how the gamecube controller has a button at the end of each trigger? Sunshine uses that. If you press the trigger without pressing the button at the end, you can move while shooting fludd. If you press the button in too, you stop moving and can instead aim fludd.
This works with normal analog triggers, but it's annoying not having a physical barrier to stop your finger from pressing to the end of the trigger unless you really want to stop and aim. It's still playable, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing like using a gamecube controller for it.

Currently no one's made homebrew that can download install games straight to the wii u in the style of WiiU USB Helper, or if you're thinking in 3DS terms, freeshop.
The general excuse/justification is that the Wii U's download speeds are too slow, and using a PC program like utikdownloader/WiiU USB Helper, copying to an SD and installing it with Wupinstaller is quicker.
