A common misconception is that the rules revolving around Link Summons will make it impossible to play 90% of decks. Given how much fearmongering is going around, I can't blame you. However, I'm in the boat that it's being exaggerated to ridiculous levels.

How often do HEROes get out more than one fusion at a time? They usually just sit on Dark Law, or for classical players, you still will rarely have - or more specifically NEED - more than one at a time.

Resonators? They'll generally just stack up from Scarlight/Red Rising anyway, and use Bane to revive monsters into the MMZ. Lunalight? They'll just turbo Leo Dancer, anyway. Trains? Please. Phantom Knights? Break Sword -> DRXD -> Requiem is the standard.

That's not to say there won't be unaffected decks. Raidraptors won't be able to set up a wall of Strixes on turn 1. Fluffals will have to slow their roll and probably rely on Sheep and Sabre Tiger's revival more often. Then some have it really bad, like Accel Synchro-focused decks such as Crystrons and Synchrons.

The real problem is people are locked into their old ideas of how to play decks, rather than investigating ways to handle the new rulings. Many of these decks are actually very Link-capable, the problem is proper Link monsters they can use don't exist yet. The best thing anybody can do is give it time.

There's going to be a troll Link monster that will link ALL zones including the opponent's, but with some silly bullshit like linked zones cannot be used or negate the effects of all monsters in linked zones.

Again, I played as everyone, both canon and reverse with story decks only, no cheating.

Stuff like Yugi vs Exodia Seeker is literally suicide tier, or even Yugi vs Bakura in duelist city, or Yugi vs Raffaello. The only easy matchups for him were against Joey and Dartz.

Yusei's deck is extremely strong versus almost all of his opponents, no luck necessary.

I wouldn't call it representative of a normal Performapal deck. It's mostly just a meme, first I wanted to make it Fusion-based like PPals are supposed to be, then I shoehorned in the other summoning types, Dimension Dragons, and Odd-Eyes variants to make one big messy Arc-V tribute to celebrate the trainwreck finally ending. Somehow it's actually wins a lot against other petdecks. I've gotten out Zarc a few times, too.

I'm actually still figuring out how to build straight up PPals, and Sky Magician PPals too. Pendulum Rising would definitely be a staple in that, though.

You could move out bull by using a dark hole or self destructing drancia, and also turboing out Leo Dancer is a mistake, What you do is put Panther Dancer on turn 1, you can turbo out Leo in the next turn easily by using Wolf on kaleido chick. the only thing where Lunalights got fucked up by link mechanics was that turn 1 boards are going to be impossible without them, but on turn 2 onwards, just drop´7000 atk worth of THICK

Well the basic Idea is to dump Felgrand + a Dragon with Shinre, Use Dark Dragon Paladin to go into REDMD, then bring back felgrand to nuke something, battle to bring back a dragon, attack again etc. Extra combo's include using Paladin to banish twice, sometimes 3 times in a turn with Return and using Return to protect me from Drancia pops.
