I have a PS3 Slim model compatible with E3 Flasher currently on 4.78. If I buy it later on will I be able to downgrade from a later OFW? All E3 flashers are designed to work with only 1 PS3.

There's a samsung multiconsole update file that allows you to downgrade multiple consoles, but E3 clones cannot accept the update because they lack a certain chip so you're stuck with only being able to downgrade one PS3.

Henkaku's issue is the games installed that way aren't seen as legitimate, so by reencrypting the game for the vita, it would be seen as an official title with encryption intact rather than the janky way we have of running unencrypted applications. At that point you're not having the vita crack it, just view it as a standard game that was restored.

Getting a digital 3.61+ game onto the memory card is no different to inserting a 3.61+ cartridge into the console. There's nothing further you can do without 3.61 keys.

The PSP (stupidly) decided to put its private key on some hardware secret in the crypto engine.
I don't know exactly how it works but it seems like the same key is needed both to decrypt content and to sign it. Which, frankly, is retarded.
Anyway, Sony wanted to emulate PSP games on the PS3 as "minis" so they decided to distribute this key as well. They probably could have found another way but that's too much effort. Let's just leak critical hardware secrets in plaintext to everyone.
