I know, but the Riding attribute is what makes Cryo3Sorc2Necro1 self-sufficient. Getting more Necro circles would be useful for afk farming and getting more points for Flesh Cannon.

What about Wiz1Cryo1Kino2Sorc2Necro1RuneCaster then? I'd use Magnetic Force instead of Frost Pillar to pull monsters before using TS special attack, I'd have the Rune of Ice > Ice Wall > Psychic Pressure combo and Rune of Giants to have some fun.

Necro c1 is fucking AMAZING. Seriously, Flesh cannon is so fucking good, it's like multishot 15. The decay thing is also neat if you have some patience for it. Flesh hop is a ok bonus to finish off some things.

I have a necro 1 warlock 1 build, necro kit is far superior than dt/pole of agony by far.

Anyway, sorcerer guy, I think that anything as a follow up to necro c1 would be better. if you want kino 2, go for kino 3 instead. or linker. Linker c1 is underrated but linking 6 (dandel gem) targets gives more dps than any other wizard circle could even imagine

We've been around for a long time and there are players out there who have been around just as long but never tried to join us. It's not that they're kiritos or anything, it's just that they don't know how to properly say hi.

In fact, some that do join us takes weeks, even months to finally gather up the courage to socialize with the other members.

Most of the time they think there's some sort of super requirement to join like weekly talt donation, certain level, certain classes so they kinda put off asking to join until much later. But more often than not, much later is no fun without a guild. We'd take anyone with a pulse, even if they don't say much in the guild.

Sometimes, I'd even look for people who lurk this general and get them into the guild. There are a couple of people in the guild who never sent me friend invites or whisper but I find them anyway.

You can gradualy upgrade it as your character develops, anon.

those are cheap, sure, but you'll face attributes worth of 25m later to maximize, but it does not mean that a lower level isn't helping. I played for months with Circling: Expand lv 10 and it was very helpful and only later I got it lv 15.

There was a choice based on my resources. I could have upograded my weapon, my damage skill or my super attribute of my utility skill. Yes, it's mandatory to maximize, but I did better by keeping it lv 10 ->upgrading my other skills -> my weapon -> and only later I finished circling. That's because I was playing with magic friends only, if I was going hard support , let's say, a doppel, I had the option to focus on it before everything else.

But yeah, it's just another money sink like the +% damage attributes. Something else to progress on your character.

Oh and I forget to say. There's one attribute that work like this that I remember: Pelt's Umbo blow knockdown: lv 1 is a small one, lv 2 medium and the lv 3 throws the mob almost out of the screen, and I kept mine lv 1

Also, most skills attributes have this effect too: extra sp cost when the attribute is on, longer cooldown, and etc. But those usually comes with a on/off thing. Example, farming with archer with Oblique shot: slow on will drain your sp like crazy so we usually turn it off. But that's it, it's on/off without mid terms (exept this one I mentioned) and it's usually better to maximize it if you're going to use it and resources is the limitation.

They're also static and have no difference between level 1 and 15 or whatever. That was the point of my wondering.

How did they fuck up making enemies fun to kill and how can we make enemies fun to kill? It's not even like in games where you can only attack one enemy at a time or anything. You don't stand there and just rotate skills either. But something about it isn't fun. It's weird. I have fun somewhat in 240, not just because it's easy to kill everything quickly, but it's also boring sometimes too.

I don't think the aggro limit is bad. RO had a soft thing where the more enemies attacking you would lower your evasion or something. It'd be nice if you could hold aggro outside the default easier but you don't need to have trains of every monster on the map.

I think aoe ratio is good in theory but implemented not so well.

Just got home. Absolutely based.

I might as well make it evident that Futureproof is still going through changes so that we can adapt and remain active and fun for everyone, not just a select clique of oldfags. I'm trying to tackle issues one by one and even though we have a really great atmosphere and attendance rate now, there's still a major problem that plagues TOSG which is in that we miss seeing our friends vanish or go onto other games.

None of us are naive enough to think Tree of Savior will hold our attention forever, especially with how it continues to spiral downhill. I'm toying with a fix for this in considering making Futureproof not just a TOSG guild, but a /VG/ guild based on one main game, Tree of Savior, but with room for brancing out to others via a website and community discord. This way we can retain our community of friends and relationships over multiple games by creating and managing Futureproof on other titles.

I'll likely endure some shitposting from the thread for this kind of thing, but honestly my guild is all that matters, and all of them really like hanging out and being a part of this friend group.

It's not for everyone, but if you can ignore a little shitposting on TOSG and want to be a part of something everyone else is having a lot of fun with, hit me up in game. We can't compete with CNL for PvE content, but are working towards it. We couldn't compete with Ohayou for GvG content either, and we actually do hamsters when someone wants one. If you're a FP, just ask me in game for one and we'll do it. We're focusing on our strong points which are adapting and giving our members new, fun things to do every week.

We don't want to be a gear treadmill in ET, or a TP grind in GBL. Sure, doing those things would be nice, but other TOSG guilds already do it better so if those are your goals, join them. Plasmagica and Merigolds have been awesome every time I chat with them.


But that's hit the nail on the head when I said Futureproof may not be suited to everyone. We're building a community where we can welcome new players and try and enjoy the game, and while we're trying for them, GBL and ET get a back seat to that.

Several, at least in korea.
Monks got some decent buffs but they're still monks.
Corsair is shifting towards a more supportive role and their skills are now fully compatible with pistols. Flag now gives bonus missile damage to the party and looting is an attribute. Still shafted by the fact there's no decent R8 class for it so you have to pick from a lower rank.
Cannon is becoming way more fun and interesting and strong, able to use their skills during Bazooka and Kneeling Shot (????) and gaining several perks for doing so. AoE ratio issues are also mostly solved and falconer isn't a must have anymore.
Inquisitors, Quarrel Shooters and Taoists got a QoL buff by having their class items weight reduced to 1.
Barbarians got buffed even further and got some extra stuns added to their repertoire in addition to a significant buff to Warcry (extends debuffs similar to discerning evil, but only your debuffs) and Frenzy can now last indefinitely in combat and buffs some of your other skills. Barb C3 is now flexible enough to work on basically any build, not just doppels.
Rune Caster got some of the most significant buffs in the game so far. Rune of Giants has 100% uptime and no longer locks you out of your skills (if you're a wizard), so every RC now has essentially double pdef, mdef and HP and 20 movement speed. Rune of Protection also has over 100% uptime now and gives the party a chance to resist knockback in addition to debuffs. Rune of Destruction has a lower cooldown and Rune of Justice has 2 overheat and is Holy, making it particularly good with Warlock's mastema.
Appraiser is out and with some luck can nullify your gear anvil upgrades and trans levels for two minutes on a 20 second cooldown, so whales got slightly nerfed.
It's been some time already but bosses cannot knock diev statues back anymore, which is a massive improvement to an already broken class.

Keep in mind all these buffs are nice but haven't really changed the status quo (except pyro).

Yes, Cartar hits same number of times regardless of level. 5 is a nice quick chargeable number, but by the time you're at r8 with trans, those numbers dont mean much.

Moulinet only improves base skill damage with numbers, so its okay not to max this out. Wagon Wheel is only good for its knockdown, so 1 is fine. Unlike bash, it gets a lot more vertical air and doesnt knock very far away from you (For comparison, the chroma dog monster knockdown is Wagon Wheel)

to clarify, I mean that the skill points invested to boost the base skill damage dont mean much. Cartar surprisingly remains a viable choice vs plate all the way to r8. Make sure you get the remove knockback attribute though, even if its expensive. Cartar cucks itself by knocking enemies out of its range before all hits finish applying.

Koreans always loved Thrust because their low ping made it better/faster than normal melee. With this, Swordsman melee is even more impressive. The problem is that putting points into Thrust means not putting points into the other skills, which is a huge sacrifice.

It would be completely broken (agny tier) if it was final damage x2. Anyway, the boost is decent for a skill that deals so many hits and is amplified by lethargy, serpentine and etc, but desu, base damage from r6 or lower skills rarely matters, number of hits is everything, it's tree of multi-hit's afterall. That's why I prefer scout c1 over sapper c3, at least for fwee that can fix flare shot main problem: hitbox
