Well started the game on 13th and was close to finishing choco fiesta but was stuck trying to open up the hard underground for a bit. Did I do pretty well?

No auto drive, I didn't know there was a way to auto drive just thought it was the auto skill at the top.

Somehow gumi took everyone by storm, it is a mystery.

The anniv event and that one gumi shill convinced everyone to start playing. Its actually kind of fun but the main reason I got into it is because people I know from here got into it so I decided to join them too. I probably wouldn't have even touched it if it wasn't for this very important reason.

Normally I do, but not for this one. Nidhogg's necklace is junk and the fight is annoying. Whenever I do 6* my luck has always been shit. I end up either getting focused nonstop or Baldr gets hit with Shade so I can't heal until I'm too far behind to catch up on the incoming damage. Also doesn't help that I don't have Luca, so if Heim's regen doesn't proc he has a decent chance of dying when getting focused. It's just not worth the hassle, especially when you get grouped with one or even two people who can't pull their own weight.

Takes like a month to take a character to 75 and three to 85.
But some anon posted a comparison of stats between 75 and 85 and the difference isn't super huge so I feel better about it and maybe it wont be that bad if I can clear shit at 75 and if they dont go full jewgumi mode after anniv's over.

The real scary thing comes when you think about how it takes you a total of SIX MONTHS to grind a 5* you don't have from 0 shards to 85. Its nice to have that option and you can go longer without a specific 5* you want in some games but the thought of having to wait six months is still pretty spooky.

Overall, its been kind of fun so far and I'm looking forward to doing some coop/PVP with /mbgg/ but I'll be the first one to jump off the ship if we start getting gumi'd.

Also, here's my impressions of the game so far by someone that kept getting burned by gumi's shitty releases and that made fun of their shitty release when it happened.

Your start roll is a guaranteed 5* which is pretty generous of gumi. Rerolling is possible without root but I was a fucking idiot and did not reroll because I thought you needed root so I stuck with Zahar for my opening roll. You start with 1770 gems and this is enough for two-three 10-rolls. You feel great about all the gems being given to you and the infinite AP you have.

You're forced to grind story, your characters levels cant be higher than your player level so you're pretty much stuck wasting/bleeding AP for a good while. They give you a paid select ticket that contains limited characters and a $1 anniv select ticket that does not contain limiteds but has all perma characters.
Its the first time I see a company add limiteds to tickets and I must confess that I bought it in a moment of weakness because people I know also did.

You also get a free Chloe 5* from panel missions and another free select ticket at the end of the panel that is worse than the above two because it lacks more recent permas and doesnt have limiteds but its still a free select ticket in the end.
You also have a shit ton of gems to farm from story and coop so the game is pissing free premium currency at you, you ask yourself if its really a gumi game with all the nice things you're getting.

This is the honeymoon period, the period where you cant stop playing and your AP bar might as well not exist because its not going to go down from 1000.

Fast forward a while til you're like 60~70 and the honeymoon is over. The realization of all the shit you have to farm hits you and how you have to blitz through the entirety of the story to actually farm it. The endless gems you were getting slow down to a trickle and you have to be more careful where you spend your gems.

You discover you're going to spend the upcoming month(s) farming shards for your characters and you suddenly go from infinite stamina to not having enough stam to farm everything you want then you realize you'll have to slow down by a lot and start playing while thinking about the long term instead of short term.

The sudden change at the end might cause people to lose interest or drop it but I'll probably stick to it as long as there's people here that play it because this feels like a game that would be better played with other people due to co-op/PVP and it'll probably feel like im grinding for nothing if I have to play this alone.

I have no idea why I ended up writing this much but I was bored and felt like summarizing my thoughts and experience with this game.

Not sure about the fragments yet, but there is a quest in 1-5 something that drops the PLANS fragments. This might be a good time to try to get it since we have double drops in normal missions. You need 80 of them and each run might drop around 2-8, and if I recall correctly, the recipe is a complete plan and one of those lion swords that everyone needs. Good luck

From what I've seen the unique job equip associated with each job only ever drops in plan fragment form and there are no direct fragments of the item. You can only get a complete plan or the complete item from job equip gacha tickets(usually the rare+ one), from the shops(yes, they can show up for zeny prices randomly in the main shop) or from mission/stage achievements.

Honestly any ssr will carry you starting off, but I'd recommend rerolling for Konosuba characters since they're limited time, are pretty good in terms of skills, and because Megumin a cute. Running a collab character on your team will also change the BGM of fights to their corresponding collab.

Though there honestly might not be much of a reason to reroll to begin with. The gacha has 7% SSR rates and you're guaranteed an SSR after 30 rolls of the collab gacha in the form of a red ticket. It just matters more if you want to use them long term and thus they will require max limit break.

Anyways, Susan(T-60 BM-8-24) is one of the best SPGs in the game hands down. High Targeting and Stealth, access to rear or angled, and Variable Fire, one of the strongest skills in the game. Despite being an RP SPG, she was part of my 24-4 original clear team.

M5A1 Stuart is the scout I chose for my main team as well, so T40 Whizbang is coming up to replace Katyusha as soon as I finish leveling the prereq. Panhard too.

There is no rerolling. None at all. It is also literally possible to craft any tank in the game free of any RNG whatsoever.

Gold(cash currency) does barely anything. It's most significant use is skipping build and tech timers. However you complete all the buildings eventually and tech timers you don't accrue resources fast enough to continually keep running. It's mostly just for cosmetic emblems and a few base backgrounds.

Why did you need the stams? Making your friends happy with constant summoning is one thing, but the coin payout from discovering but not clearing was utter garbage, and unnecessary if you even had the time to run the game all day like that

Krampus event was stupidly short since you only needed 15k coins per day to buy out everything other than the 4~5* ticket, and if you had the team to beat level 30+s, it just took ~15 or so Krampus murderings in a day with zero summoning involved

Egypt event was 25k per day but the devs also almost 1.5x'd payouts at level 30+ so it wasn't bad, it's just that the 5*s were shit and the Raid-only 5* equipments were only at the fourth reset

People generally go with one kinetic(wrecks) and one chemical(secret plans) ammunition to focus on due to resources.

It's not too hard to have side techs which you keep up a few levels behind due to being drastically cheaper. Focusing on techs doesn't mean you're banned from tanks that don't use your preferred ammo so remember lesser stats, but more appropriate engine and chassis may be far more useful for a particular stage.

Eventually you'll branch out into maintaining two techs. Then you'll get to the point where you start getting every tech up as the last few levels are stupidly expensive and not worth the costs compared to getting new tanks and skills.

Regarding ammunition rankings, generally you go for the ammunitions which correspond to the tanks you want rather than ammunition first. If you don't really have a planned endteam then here's a breakdown.

AP, 100% pen rate, shortest range. It's possibly the most specialized ammunition despite ironically seeming like one of the most basic types. At sub-1200 range, you're getting a targeting and penetration penalty on every non-street map. They're well-suited to LAVs who specialize in infantry, but infantry drops off intensely in the post game.

APCR, medium range, boosted firepower as you get closer, though it's not an extremely noticeable effect. While its range usually isn't much better, the boosted firepower in CQB means it somewhat overshadows normal AP.

APDS, longest range of the kinetic ammunitions, ignores a bit of armor. It does not have a 100% penetration rate so it evens out though. Boasts extremely high penetration boost from tech stats to the point where penetration can be higher than firepower on some tanks. Seemingly specialized, actually the most general use due to range.

The thing with the three kinetic ammos is that if you shoot out of range, not only does your chance to miss skyrocket, your penetration falls off so even if you do hit you hit for nothing.

This game has pretty good rates done 5 of the 7 annivaety event pulls, two questions, I'm on 2-1-3-3, is there enough levels to farm out the last 5000 jewels, and who should I use.

Did the same people who make DC also make Devil Maker Tokyo? It feels kind of similar except the animations and DC having better gameplay, but the art is the same, the story feels kind of similar and then all the extra story you get and the story you get when you collect a set of three of the characters.

HE, 100% pen rate, range varies from 500 to over 5k, the most basic and most common SPG ammunition. You can't really go wrong with it, but it's fullest potential lies with tanks that can use fragment HE which can doubleshot. The armor debuff as far as I can tell doesn't actually do anything.

RP, 75% pen rate, highest ranges with nothing below 4k, everything has doubleshot by default and one of the specific ammos has tripleshot. This is the RP's claim to fame. However, the very last of the highest tier has molten effect which has enhanced flame effect. High end RP is usually a choice between tripleshot or molten effect.

HEAT, everything has molten, also doesn't suffer from too close effect unlike HE, RP, and HESH, medium range generally. Basically if you like setting enemy tanks on fire, this is the ammo for you. I personally prefer frontloading damage, but HEAT can significantly outdamage the other ammunitions simply due to fire damage.

HESH, basically HE, but with the crit tradeoff effect. A niche ammo with almost as few users as RP. However it's special effect isn't really worth the investment. If you want more crits, focus on boosting targeting.

I've been mentioning this, but haven't actually explained it. All the ammunitions have varying pen rates. These are a specific modifier the devs put in for balance. Rockets have 75%, AP and HE 100%, and the rest somewhere in between.

Basically, rocket using tanks act as if they had 75% of the penetration they actually have for damage purposes. Conversely, an HE tank acts with its full penetration. This difference is extremely noticeable if you're barely meeting ends with penetration. Rockets make up for it with multishots, but fragment HE will beat out most rockets besides the molten and tripleshot variants.

On SAO Memory Defrag Bandai fucked up the 4* guaranteed gacha description. It said you were going to get more than 4* and a lot complained when they only got 1 4*. To compensate players for the confusion they are releasing a second 4* guaranteed character and weapon gacha this February 24th. It will only cost 1 diamond to roll each. They are also giving 5 diamonds to those who rolled the guaranteed gacha before they fixed the text.

Mikoto's best parts come from her first job so she doesn't need to be sharded straight away, her Miko class is unique to her, she has map-wide defensive debuffs and a AoE def/speed buff, she's strictly a support character with only one offensive move

OS Asuna account better than OS Kirito? I think the Asuna account has a better weapon pool at the moment until I get like OS Sinon on Kirito. Reddit also said that the non guarantee banners were better for pulling OS so I kind of regret pulling on the guarantee banners.

The weapon pool is shit on both since you don't have at least a 3* weapon for your OS character, but Asuna's less shit. I'd go with her. You can give that 3* sword to Strea or Yuna and that 4* rod to healer Asuna. In terms of weapon damage it goes like this: 4* gacha > 3* gacha > 4* event > 2* gacha.

Still, hold on to both accounts and see what you get from the second gacha in a few days.

You should be able to clear it with that. If one of your units die simple press the top middle button to quit and all dead characters will come back. They are basically free retries so just keep going and use confusion a lot.
