My interpretation of it is that the Russians didn't like the CF guys coming to boss them around so they tried to do their own thing, then Asura told Shenna to kick Yaga for not listening to him.

Shenna did announce that the teams are going to be separate and that Asura and Yaga will both be "head developers" cooperating after all. So I can definitely see how Yaga wouldn't be pleased with the true arrangement.

This is my first time playing WoW, and I've gotten to level 17 using the add-on questie. It constantly breaks but it's gotten the job done for the most part, is there a better quest related add-on alternative? Also, what other add-ons should I get? I've tried using some leveling guide add-on but it only tells me what to do for alliance characters, trying to use Joana's leveling guide isnt reallyworking out for me either because ive not followed the guide previously and the quest it is telling me to go to is not there.

Are you using the most recent version of Questie? It's been in constant development, so if you have some old version from some addon pack, that's normal.

What class are you? Look at the https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/268-ui-addons-macros/ forum and you'll see the most popular addons used for all classes, for nameplates/UI/frames, it will be pfUI/ShaguPlates or LunaFrames, for group finding it will be CallToArms or vQueue (I'd recommend the former, if you want to use it I'll tell you exactly how to make it watch all channels), for the AH/vendor prices it will be Aux, for DPS it will be DPSMate, and so on.

I wouldn't use any leveling guides especially if it's your first time playing.

If you have no clue on what your leveling route then I recommend VanillaGuide. It's pretty much going to guide to from leveling 1-60 but many many other people use it so some of the quests I recommend skipping simply because it's too crowded. Always ask yourself "Is this quest really worth my time or could I just grind mobs for better exp" if yes then you skip the quest. Also if you get repeatedly ganked or see many of the other faction near your quest spot then you might wanna consider going somewhere else. Main point don't tunnel vision on the guide.

Either. At the moment Elysium has a higher population because it's a new server.

When AQ drops on Anathema, Elysium pop will die down. When BWL drops on Elysium, Anathema population will die down.

Ultimately the servers will likely have the same population once Naxx drops on both.

And whatever server has the lowest population will get merged with Zeth.

So it doesn't matter what server you roll on. If you don't mind doing MC and having a worse choice of pre-bis gear, then roll on Elysium.

Personally I would roll Anathema just because when AQ drops you'll be able to do MC/Ony/ZG/AQ20 as soon as you get half-decent pre-bis gear. But on Elysium you are stuck doing MC and Ony for at least a few more months.
