Mako has age of discovery to boost a great deck that's gotten me platinum rank thrice, if you want to be bold go Rex Raptor since Jurassic World is amazing and it's not hard to farm his cards from the gate at lvl 40 but 1900 beatsticks and since most people fail to run twister/despell or multiple copies it's almost guaranteed to keep your opponent on edge
You want Sphere Kuribo and a good equip card like Grarl Axe or Black pendant early even sword of the deep seated from Pegasus(if you got him) so farm neo-Impact for a while till you get those.

Every monster that Ishizu summons is a spellcaster and there is a spell that destroys all spellcasters on the field. Typically this comes in handy as a backup if you aren't getting javelins/cerb and she floods the board. You can get this as a drop from any LD lv10-20 I think. It's called like "something something witches"
Cerb is also a spellcaster so its a dead card once you have him out.

The gravity axe is good against 1 of ishizu's monster, where its able to change the battle position of one of your monster when its attacking if necrovalley is on the field.

She also has no way to destroy spells so Wonder Balloons is amazing against her. Wonder Balloons is also great because it lets you cash in your javelins and other dead cards that aren't useful at a certain point for -300 atk debuffs on the opponent.

The main thing to fear against Ishizu is this one gravekeeper that she will try to tribute summon for, where she can get 1000+ atk on it, AND drop your cerb's attack by 2000 atk. If you are able to get your cerb to at least 5000, you are in the "safe zone" and can just keep playing until you are out of cards. The main way of protecting yourself from this card is Wonder Balloons.

If you want a really good Cerb deck, you at least want 2 of them and at least one Riryoku. So you can use the second Cerb for Riryoku and boost your main Cerb by a shit ton and Riryokus and Cerbs are available via card trader so you don't have to waste gems hoping for it to drop.

The ONLY reason anything fire related is so shit right now is because of umi.
