He's forty something years old now, for the last few years he's been complaining that he's just too old to play games like CoD and Battlefield anymore because they're too fast paced and aim dependent for him.

I'm wondering if the league system of OW + ability dependent heroes like Reinhardt and Lucio might make the game more enjoyable for him. He acts a bit stupid at times so I'm worried the disney nature of the game might put him off.

Mercy gets a bad rap imo, she can be very handy to have around, but Ana's grenade means she can turn fights around more than Mercy can, which is why she's so popular.

75% of players fall within silver/gold/plat and you can queue with people within 1000 rating. This means means plat is just a giant mess of non-consistent skill. And I have a strong suspicion that they way higher ranked players more than lower ranked (so a 1500 and a 2500 doesn't balance 2000 but hits somewhere around 2250)

What is confirmed however is that their "new and innovative" system tries to push you to a 50/50 by tweaking teams. So your matches aren't mutually exclusive. This is why people see way more wins streaks and loss streaks.
