It's actually the other way around, only done 4 duels until I realized I wasn't good at that, then switched to Deathmatch (Elimination for the orders) and Dominion for fun.

Dominion is by far the easiest place to annihilate shitters though, this is true.

the change is that if both players Guardbreak at the same time, one of them will get caught, unable to tech it, they are reverting this back to how it was in beta, that you CAN tech it, but the timing remains the same.

the patch notes says nothing about changing the timing, the patch notes says that the above mechanic specifically is being reverted back to how it was in beta.

people just read the last part of the patch notes "guardbreak reverted back to how it was in beta" and think it applies to everything.

Nobushi has Body Count, mid has a lot of soldiers. One AoE attack kills ~5-6 soldier = heal up instantly.

Instead of retreating I can just AoE around in mid and get healed. If other player approach me I just surround myself with enemy soldiers and AoE if I happen to fuck up.

Yes, but they're deployed evenly across every territory. This means that a significant portion are going to be wasted on "%90+ barely-contested territory we've already won" or "1%/49%/50% territory we have no chance of winning".

They still are deployed, so they're not utterly wasted, but it's much less helpful. If you care about the faction war it's probably better to deploy them manually, but why the fuck would anyone care about the faction war to begin with?
