The build for S3 was Pen Boots, Book, Chronos, Obsidian, Tahuti, Soul Reaver.
For S4, the expensiveness of Chronos may make one not want to buy it, but I still think its good, especially on Nox. Its essentially the same build, but you can take out Obs for Magus or Desu. Depends on how you're doing gold wise. Magus ultimate makes her combo do more damage long as you get the ticks with your one beforehand which one should 80% of the time.

If you play Nox entirely for the burst you should play someone else.

Missing a Nox combo with the type of build you suggest only makes it worst when she misses it, and she will miss it at one point because everyone does. There's no point in going for a one shot when a build with CDR not only has the potential to, but in an actual game, they will be killed by your team if the initial burst doesn't finish them off.

About 2/3 of the way through last season, although that anon is exaggerating. They removed his ult's interaction with his axe, it now has a knock-up and does extra damage all the time. They also changed his two so it can be used while he's crippled and hits properly (before you could outrun the damage because it was only dealt if the fx of his axe spinning connected with the something). He's now a fairly good, if predictable, disrupter in team fights.

His heal is insane now, at max rank his 3 initially heal for 220 health, then you gain 50 protection and after 4s you heal for 70% of the damage taken. Izanami should be built with a lot of raw power (but not Trans) regardless if you mid or not. Izanami Mid is perfectly fine if you have a Chronos or Freya ADC but Incon builds and plays stupid, just as everyone else who tried Izanamid.

I've been going back to more of a Season 3 build.

Death's Toll and Boots, into Warrior Tabi and Ichaival. After Ichaival is when I go into Poison Star or Bloodforge. If I'm mostly being left alone to farm, I'll go into Bloodforge, because the raw power lets me shred towers. If I'm boxing more, I'll go dip into the Shuriken Tree before going into Bloodforge.

To be fair, I feel like I've been going up against worst players than I was in S3 because I did poorly my first few Conquest matches after the reset, so I can pretty often away with stuff like warding deep and proxy farming. As a personal playstyle, I really like to have the duo lane exposed around the time we start looking at Fire Giant, because a dead phoenix or the possibility thereof in the duo lane makes defending FG awkward.

I've mostly been playing Hou Yi because he's fun and does very well in a crit meta. However, I like Izanami as a flavor pick. And I'm more of a support player, so hunter isn't my main role.

Right now i'm doing:

Start bluestone, T1 boots, chalice of mana and 2 multipots.

Warrior Tabi > Shield of Regrowth > Jotunn's Wrath > Titan's bane > Hide of the Urchin > Bulwark of Hope

Sometimes i'll also get Frostbound Hammer or instead of getting Jotunn's getting Hydra's + Gladiator shield (scraping Titan's bane). With that you will do a lot less damage but you'll be able to spam your abilities sticking to targets, healing even more. Later you should sell Gladiator Shield for Spirit Robe or Mantle of Discord and maybe scraping Hydra's for something more situational (like Winged Blade or Frostbound).
