i have a hunter pet guide that details what pets teach what skills. I found it on a site for wow guides by going to their 600th or so page on the forum back to when it was active in 2006-7 Its not an exhaustive guide but its ok. It doesnt tell unique properties but i have found those elsewhere.

I just found out about WoW private servers and decided to check this one out but havent decided yet if i want to be a tauren warrior or druid. Being a warrior means i get to do tanking which is my favourite role but it seems a druid can do that and many other things ontop of that so i wouldnt be restricted to doing just one thing.
Which one do you guys find more fun to tank with?

Zeth'kur has a low population, choose Anathema if you want a mid population server with the full assortment of raids, or Elysium if you want a really high population with a delayed raid progression (check out elysium-project.org/timeline).

I only ever played hunter for a bit on old nost. i used a regular cat i think for most of the time. i was too lazy to level broken tooth. The only time i used anything other than a cat was when i used a bear from winterspring so i could solo devilsaurs as marksman spec.

Different animals have different ranks of skills and you need to tame them to learn the next rank i think.
You want a main pet and yo uwant to be taming training pets and learning their abilities to teach your main pet.

I would say warrior is more "fun" and "satisfying" to tank as, but to be perfectly frank with you, I prefer to have a druid tank in 5mans (even if he's full restoration) because they have much more effective health and lots of self-HoT.
Having a druid tank is so comfy, I don't have to worry about a thing.
Healing warriors is most often an alarming experience.

Druids can't take raids though, only offtank in some encounters.

when did blizzard "fix" seal of crusader?

Its attack power bonus did not go down with each hit on retail iirc even though the tooltip said it did. It was just another one of those things blizard never got around to changing because it turns out pallies werent dps machines anyways and no one really used seal of crusader much when they had seal of command.

Can anyone tell me what patch they fixed it so i can look over the notes?
It really irritates me that elysium is "fixing" these things that worked a certain way on retail.
Also i heard that crestfall devs are fixing bugs in vanilla that blizzard never fixed themselves and that annoys me. I probably wont play a paladin for crestfall anyways but if this is the case then it seals the deal for me. no pun intended.

I finished ranking in the first few weeks of Elysium, so I've been joining BGs occasionally for fun in the past few weeks, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it's a 100% Chinese group, and they seem to be AFKing or just letting the other team win even if it's not the current Alliance premade.

I thought I'd just be able to join a BG every now and then and have a nice game, but it looks like the BG situation has worsened immensely in the past month or two, it was never this bad.

If it's the same on Elysium/Zethwhatever, then god help you all if you're trying to rank.

Necrosis, DoTimer/CCWatch/Auras (I can explain to you how to combine CCwatch and Auras into one if you like it that much better than DoTimer, or just upload it somewhere for you), ItemRack, TrinketMenu. I'm very new to the whole warlock thing so I'll try out the ones you recommended, I downloaded a pack of vanilla addons and found Necrosis,DoTimer and CCwatch but not auras.

Try DoTimer for now, CCWatch is from here:

But the brilliant author of the addon removed tracking DoTs from it and only left CC spells in, so you have to copypaste all the DoT info from Auras which he abandoned.

If you don't want to bother with it you can use DoTimer+CCWatch for the same functionality (CCWatch also tracks some more "obscure" CC from items like Magic Dust or Rocket Helmet so that's why it's good).

Here's my version (you can compare the .lua changes in Notepad++ if you get the original from the beginning of my post, I basically just added all the warlock curses, Immolate, Siphon Life, and Corruption for my personal use, I don't play any other class except Warlock but you can add other class spells in the same way too):
