Removing welders and metal cutters would allow the companies to work more on revamping the rest of the infrastructure. You'd have more stores/roads/parks/school options, more asphalt could be made with buildings and roads in mind and have less potholes, and you could finally get back those interstate highway golden age you all want so much.

war aside, Japan experienced such massive growth due to U.S. commitment to provide it's army for Japan and standing in so prominently in the East Asian theater, while also the destruction it endured during WWII allowed for a better rebuilding of infrastructure.

I'm not taking anything away from Japanese culture's commitment to working hard and striving to achieve, as a country their economy progressed profoundly, but it is in part due to having to not worry about having to maintain or worry about committing troops to foreign entanglements.

That isn't to say either that this is entirely to U.S. detriment, we benefit from a healthier Japan and they benefit from our help, however the country is socially backward relative to other nations on a number of issues, whether you see this as bad or good is up to the individual, but I'm basically just saying the claim Japan has gone on fine for centuries is wrong, and they enjoy quite a few things that other countries do not, they were put in a good position.

But this is just a rather shallow analysis that doesn't sum up all the effects of racial diversity, it's definitely true that it can be hampering in cases, but in the case of ffxiv this simply isn't true.

Birth rate is a very simple issue to look at as well, though not so simple in how to solve it. I don't think it's an accurate representation of the healthiness of a country period, though it is one.

If they made more healer tank classes it would give people incentive to go over to them, right now we only have 3 healers and 3 tanks to how many dps there are now. You can shift the player base and ease up on queue times.

Mnk being the agreed upon worst dps for any serious raid comp isn't just /xivg/ opinion. The class has no synergy with any other dps class but itself because lolbluntdamage and with war/drk being meta the into down that dragon kick has is just done by the drk instead. There is literally no reason to bring a mnk to a raid over a nin or drg, thinking of bringing one is laughable if you are even remotly serious. And to top it all off mnk doesn't even do high enough dps numbers to justify it bringing nothing else to a raid.
