Realistic single-player is great fun, my only complaint is starting from the beginning of the level again.

For me that just isn't fun unless the level has branching paths or something, the number one killer of enjoyment in a single-player mode is just doing the same thing again. It isn't hard, that "same thing" isn't the thing I had trouble with/killed me, it's just time consuming and a strange punishment.

Make the combat brutal, make it deadly, make the level like trying to walk through hell if your feet have been replaced with your balls, but don't make me kill the same mindless enemies again in the same locations with the same pop-ups and cutscenes and everything because that doesn't make me go "Wow that was fun!" it makes me go "Eh, do I want to spend 20 minutes doing the same thing again?"

This isn't actually a criticism of For Honor itself but this thing in any single-player situation. If the area i'm repeating was difficult it would be different but the areas themselves aren't difficult in most games.

Youre locked out of a fuckload of style, and you need more levels to get matched with better players, i got to rep 1 purely off duels but it was slow, and alot of the better players who no lifed it are rep 4 but i rarely get matched with them, and they're the only people who pose a challenge to me, most rep 1s and 2s are trash, and anything under is typically a joke. But at that moment, they're going to start working towards a lasting peace after all three factions have exhausted themselves after 7 years of constant warfare. They mention that they're going to end up dead for this. If it aint the law, it aint right. Played warden and roach in both betas but felt like shit cause way to easy to win with them since they're easily the best classes in the game. Enjoy law cause i have to use everything at my disposal to win against other good players. Only issue with the law is the only real thing you can do off of parries is a gb, in my opinion all they really need to do to buff him is make his damage a bit nicer, and make it so that his side heavy chain from parry is always confirmed, and give him something thats a free confirm off of a shove, gb would be way to strong but maybe a free light? cause shoves pretty easy to dodge and currently theirs no reason to really use it in the highest level of play. but that would make his defense into free shove ability really strong, idk he just needs a little bit of a push.

headbutt drains like, half stamina, and once you're out, he can either side throw you for a fully charged side heavy, or just juggernaut run into you for the knockdown

How do I deal as Nobushi's as Warden? Whenever I parry I'm always out of range to counter attack even with the overhead unblockable.
The only damage I usually do is from the zone attack.

Most people don't understand that Warden is overpowered because it's the only class that actually has powerful tools that work at high level play. It's really the only "complete" hero. Most of the heroes in the game need a lot of work before they're remotely as good as Warden.

Guardbreak after parry into top heavy.
If you're feeling ballsy, break into top light into top heavy unblockable.

Kensei's links are pretty easy to understand, reminds me of MH Longsword a bit. The second light hit in any chain is a poke.

Guardbreak and Helm Splitter can replace the first hit in a light chain. i.e To get your big overhead you can LLH but that's shit and won't hit anybody. So you skip the first hit with a guardbreak or helm splitter. The poke is pretty good free damage follow up, but not a true combo.

Kensei's throw counts as the second link in a chain, so you can Parry, Guardbreak, Throw, Unblockable Top Heavy. This isn't guaranteed though, and you're better off going for the break into some light damage. It's best used when you catch them exhausted since the unblockable is huge damage and guaranteed.

Kensei can also guard break out of dash. Hit someone with a ton of Helm Splitter pokes, and once they're trained to expect them with their guard high, dash break into something.

You can also chain all three heavies but I really don't know how useful this is, you're just asking to be parried.

Also note if they get wise to your overhead shit, you can change guard during the wind up to swap it to the side heavy. You can try baiting out parries with this if you have more HP than your opponent, because it can't be interrupted and Kensei is pretty tough and strong overall.

Get in range. They're surprisingly fragile upclose and backed to a corner. To do that, you have to play a defensive game and mix it with feints when they start becoming passive. Slowly make your way to your weapon's range and start gb or pressure them into a corner. The main hurdle with them is getting right to their grill. Try not to shoulder bash too much since they will punish it.

Slow hitter but everything else about him is pretty good; namely his feint game and range. You have the ability to feint the top heavy into side swipe or regular cancel plus other attacks that have a ton of zoning to get close. You're mainly being reactionary and trying to start your combos with the quick moves. No point in going offensive with light or heavy up close, kite them with the edge of your range.

I don't know who you play, but playing defensively will do two things; learn the particular player's pattern so you can eventually parry them, and eventually cause them to make a mistake that you can captialize on.

I think you could do something better with your time, but that's just my opinion.

If you truly want to do that, just 1v1 a Level 3 Orochi bot in a 99 round duel and brute force yourself into learning the timing. Do that for an hour or two a day and you'll have it in around a week at the very most.
