Trust me, because you can do Uber Izaro with breeze, and farming shit has never been so fun.

Depends also on weapon/skill - Im using Rive claw, with is great on its own, but that bleed buff is nice. Scaeva sword crit - also very nice.
Facemashers and Abyssus will be very bloody good.

Gladiator is a very versatile class.

Innsbury has garbage damage, the phys2chaos conversion is interesting but even if you pick up hybrid phys/chaos damage nodes from the Shadow area, it's not enough to compare to a cookie cutter high pdps weap imo, possibly useful for phys spells but not attacks

As for options, whatever you can afford depending on league progress and your budget, including

Rabid Rhoa claw, self-farmable, costs nothing and has a solid t1 flat
the flat chaos prefix alone is doing more damage than Innsbury, let alone if you start to take into account the claw base pdps and additional mods you can augment+regal+mastercraft

into

Breath of the Council (high pdps, 60-80% chaos damage, 10% AoE), can't be used with BF but a solid budget option for 1h EQ, fairly available because it only requires the Pale Council prophecy chain

Varunastra, for obvious reasons, scales with everything and the implicit/base are confirmed to getting a solid buff, can be used for BF/EQ

into

The Scourge, again for obvious reasons, high pdps, high attack speed, generic damage double dipping on poison damage, near BiS for poison BF probably

a very good Decay crafted Sai is probably an option too, but it requires luck on the craft, and the 6% block implicit is probably not even needed as a Gladiator, frees some points though

Between Malicious claw, Varunastra and Scourge I might as well go for a few claw nodes as well. Mostly the Malicious claw, until I have farmed enough for Scourge.

Planned pathing would take shield block, frenzy (if I can fit in frenzy generation) and phys/chaos damage nodes from the right side. Maybe even the phys/chaos cluster between Shadow and Witch if I don't lose too much on defenses.
