anyone care for a mediocre read explaining myself? Looking for feedback/advice

I basically play alot of ADC. At first I wanted to always go for flashy plays, which isnt all that good. Then I standard playing more standard. Prioritizing safety over plays and such. I mainly play hypercarries so generally if its a standard fight where our frontlines clash and its a battle of who can melt the frontline first, I win.
But theres the thing, teammates are unreliable and do stupid things all the time that can lose you a perfectly winnable fight.
So I got back to make flashy plays. I now often try to look for openings into the backline myself. If their frontline blows all their cc its often very easy to flash into their backline for a kill and potential zone them out of a fight. And without the carries the chances of winning the fight are extremely in your favour. Of course the risk is that you fuck it up and die, and then it backfires.
But Ive been relatively successful in this playstyle, yet I feel like its something I shouldnt be able to get away with. Maybe the surprise factor is what gets them.

Im basically doing on an ADC what an assassin should do, with more possibilities.

Generally speaking this goes against the philosophy of playing adc and safety over everything.

Is it worth it to pursue this playstyle?

Truth be told, garen gets fucked by every single ranged toplaner, and even some meelee ones, but he's very good against tanks like poppy and shen and squishy fighters like fiora or yasuo.

Dunno what to tell you. I mained Bard for a bit. It's ez to climb when enemy supports aren't mages. Getting picks and moving around the map are his specialty. If you can figure out how to make that work for you and your team you'll get wins.

There are a few ways, but Heimerdinger is probably the easiest.

The same can be done over by Gromp, but ocasionally bots will kill that lane and you'll die, get flagged AFK, etc.

Since you seem to be a post season 5 babby let me describe what is generally accepted as the GOLDEN AGE of league of legends.

In the Golden Age of League of Legends, as an example, what you did in lane mattered. Lane matchups were a big deal and defined by aggressive decision making and calculated risk taking. And if you got a lead, you could actually end the game. There wasn't a bunch of arbitrary speedbumps to prevent you from taking your outplaying and converting it into a win.

All lanes were not defined by their ability to delete waves, and thus trivialize all matchups. Teleport was not run as a "get out of playing shit" free card by collecting double kills bot lane. ADCs were not deleted nearly instantly by "tanks" at 40 minute mark. Jungling required thought beyond a pre-programmed paint by the numbers "rotation" scheme. Supports actually had to help win their lane with a minimum of farm, maximizing usefulness while minimizing gold/xp requirements.

This was a game where "outplays" were natural and not built into kits that were "MADE FOR MONTAGES". There was no set "EPIC MONTAGE" QEQWR rotations and the like.

And this is even outside what might be considered the "pro scene". With organic teams, organic growth, and genuine desires to be the best. Because the game REWARDED those who played better instead of those who drafted better.

If you took all of the "hype" of pro games of the past 4 years and combined them into one, you could get the hype of 1 game at IPL5. It was well before your time, during peak LoL

Hey, I play league for a pretty long time by now 6 years I also had a period in my life when league was just pure shit to me with people raging all the time, games being more stressful than enjoyable etc. Now league is just a nice way to spend my free time that I have a lot of to either get good or just fuck around with friends.

After all these years I came to a conclusion that league has at least one thing similar to anyone's life and that is: League/Life is what you make it. I know it might sound dumb but that's kinda how it is. Everyone knows how shit the community is but instead of being another person that just complains you should try and encourage some fun in the chat in normals. Most of the time people will tell you to shut the fuck up but the one game you stumble upon at least 1 person that also wants to have fun you're going to feel like the search was worth it.

Also you should play with your friends because the game is way more fun to play with others than just going there alone. But if you get friends to play league the only thing that you must remember is that just like you, your friends should want to have fun. I've been playing with couple of my 'friends' many years ago and league was extremly unfun to me because these people were extremly toxic towards eachother in game.

it's just the playerbases' answer to the ever-evolving meta. yeah, it's totally niggers to play against but think about it. bot lane has become a juicy, medium rare steak in the eyes of every other lane and jungler and that means if the enemy botlane doesn't get you the 4man ganks will. so the next best thing for bot lane is to take the weak, supportive role and turn it into what is essentially mid lane. an offensive mage with tons of poke/damage and a modicum of cc to secure the kill.

I don't advocate it, in fact it's pretty fucking annoying but this is what happens when riot tries to force their own version of the meta instead of just letting it happen naturally through the playerbase.

The best advice I can give to you is not to go for more challenging champs but to get your game knowledge better.

Things like:

>Enemy cooldowns and their potential damage
>Map awarness
>Map preassure

There is way more to game knowledge than I just listed but these are things from top of my head.

If I had to choose what is the most important in league I would say 60% game knowledge 20% mechanics and 10% communication.

Take Annie Bot for the best example I can give to you. He plays one of the most straightforward champions there is and yet he manages to climb with a champion that has a extremly linear gameplay and comes down to flash ulting someone everygame.

Game knowledge is going to take you way further than any mechanics you can obtain. People in bronze always suffer because of very poor game knowledge and they often refuse to acknowledge it or they won't get better at it because it's hard to see the progress in a shorter timespan. You can learn do to the insec as Lee Sin within 2 days of mixed practice tool testing and playing normal games but it takes way longer to develop a habit for watching the map and thinking 'what can I do to fuck over this guy' and it doesn't look impressive.

Getting good at league is like getting better at craftsmanship, you won't suddenly become great in it because you learned couple fancy tricks when your knowledge is nothing compared to others.

But for the teemo and the replay it shows that vision is being granted to the enemy team when this is not the case

and this is the issue as for him vision is still being granted, while stealthed. should he exit the brush the stealth will be removed, but the granted vision icon will still be shown (which is fine as part of invisibility will not show it unless true sight is granted, of which its not) but its the stealth part that causes the issue

Vision granted while moving, stays granted while moving, stealths while moving (bug unless his passive implies that it will just start the moment brush is entered), leaving brush shows vision once more - this is NOT how it should work due to movement persisting which would stop teemo's passive from kicking in, even in 0.75 seconds due to them not stopping for that given amount of time while this happened

Vision not granted even if it damages teemo (and deathfire touch making it last), and will grant it once leaving brush - mechanically this is how it should work because he was stealthed before activating the trap.
