The box gacha gives a small set of limited items, usually 50 or so, and when you get one of those, you can't get it again. You can keep rolling to the point of getting everything, if you have the AP.

There's also a non limited reprent set alongside it, which has a big selection of currently unavailable old gacha items.

These things from last event's achievements.

They're for a special gacha with a limited number of items, including all of a set unique to that gacha and a bunch from a giant pool of stuff from other gachas. Every time you roll on it, the item you got is removed from the box, so you're guaranteed everything in it, really. You can also reset it, which aside from putting back in all the unique things, gets you a different pool of non-unique items.

I got my second in two weeks not doing anything special. Make sure to do the special study subjects with your first Myroid and then start doing the special jobs. It's not worth it doing the normal jobs. Make sure to visit others and bother, recommend, and socialize (BRS) as well. You can find more tips in the pastebin in the OP.

Have you been worked with before? Just in case, when someone works with you, you should visit their page and go to the Myroid that is currently working with one of your Myroids; the currently "active" Myroid (the one you last checked, which you can change once you get another Myroid) should be the one that is being worked with. Art's way less consistent, ranging from shitty cartoony items to nicely detailed ones, a mix you'll have to deal with if you're trying to do anything more than just background+outfit+one other accessory. Faces feel really samefacy, and generally look bad anyway, some weird halfway between realistic and stylized except for a few.

Clothing, the best outfits are nice, but most fall into the average or terrible categories, unless you happen to like edgy/fantasy/pastel outfits.

Gameplay is a joke. Overcasualized, no incentives to do anything, no consequences for failing to do anything right, no variation in events, anything interesting like knitting takes forever, and minmaxing for things like synthesis requires dealing with the limited closet space, which is absolutely retarded.

If you mentioned interface, there're a few nice features with the closet that MCC could learn from, but otherwise that's a mess too.

Something I dislike about DG is that it is a pretty cold game.
Players don't bother to return recs advice and talks to people that aren't friends.
The advice all button also doesn't encourage visits.

Sure, we've done it six times before. What happens is that people suggest themes that we then vote on to select one, people dress up their Myroids/Students/Girlfriends/Boyfriends and send it to me, then those are all voted on to select a few winners. There are prizes for winning, of course, but also just for participating as an entrant and a voter. It's all very straightforward.

I think MCC and DG both have strengths and weaknesses.

MCC Pros:
-More varied events
-Unlimited closet space
-More minor things to do (casino, number game, etc.)
-A properly functioning back button
-More girls possible
-Better incentives to level
-Ability to gift consumables (through restricted)

DG Pros:
-Closet sorted by slot
-Voices
-Motion
-Easier to get free gacha tickets
-Doesn't error when powering through events
-Groups
-Ability to gift N items and share Rs from group closet
-Easier to communicate in game

Everything else is pretty much just opinions.

I found DG's layout significantly superior for mobile. MCC's involves a lot of extra clicking and scrolling to get where I want to go. It's easier to power through socialising in DG (though the conversations aren't as fun.)

>Art
MCC is a super cartoony style which I personally find pretty ugly. The proportions on the girls aren't SD enough to be really cute like FD but they aren't human enough to be sexy/attractive. A lot of the older items are especially unfortunate. I think DG looks a lot cleaner and polished, but I don't think the fashion sense is any better. Both of them have more fashion disasters than items I want. MCC has a wider variety of poses on non-rare items, which is nice.

>Closet
MCC and DG both have closet problems that deter me from wanting to acquire more items, and therefore prevent me from actually spending money on these games. DG has limited closet space that you need to spend money to expand. This isn't ever really an issue if you are just getting all the event gacha items plus ticket spins because you get a bunch of free closet space just for logging in, but if you did want to spend a lot to roll gacha you'd have to spend extra for more closet space. I guess they think if you are willing to pay, may as well bleed you. MCC is just a poorly sorted clusterfuck. I only keep a couple items I really like to keep it manageable.

Both are pretty flawed. DG has everything except special gachas in one giant pool of possible pulls, which makes getting one specific item you want pretty hard. They have fewer concurrent gacha running than MCC though, so it's not as bad as it could be. I do like the campaigns that have a number of deeply discounted rolls that give you a set of nice items including an MR guaranteed. Superior to Saralis. MCC keeps everything in the $$ gacha nicely sorted so you can pick which series you want to roll for individually, and often even by accessory or outfit which is superior, but then fucks this up in the Mix, Moen, and CAN gachas by having hundreds of items lumped in together. If you have your heart set on one thing, you're just fucked. I'm currently using all my free rolls and tickets to just immediately trash anything I get for mixer tickets because of this. MCC gives you the first roll free, but DG dumps free gacha tickets on you constantly so they tie there.

>Clothing/Item Management
DG hands down. I can actually give common items to other users or receive them from other users if I missed the event. You can share R items as well once your group is high enough level. MCC you can gift consumable items to low level users. I also find DG's item recycling to be superior. MCC you can exchange items at the AIMI shop for a random item in return. DG you either synth or convert to LG and then get to pick which outfit you want in return, but it does take more items to do. I find a guaranteed reward worth that trade off, but I am picky about outfits.

Other minor functions: MCC's NPCs are a lot more endearing than DG's. DG's communication system and group function, including message board, are so much nicer than MCC, and I find the desire to connect with others in the actual game and the ability to do more to help them including the ability to give outfits a larger motivator to be active than MCC's work together and bother functions.

I think if they go too extreme with height differences it's hard to scale outfits. DB has some comically bad proportions depending on some outfits because hands don't scale right sometimes. DG is a little awkward because while small is loli sized, the medium and tall are still pretty short.

Well, what I said is not entiiirely true. It would be true if I made you ranked all the options and used runoff voting rules. The way I'll do it is to make people rank a few options out out a larger list (usually a third), since people have expressed that ranking big lists is tedious. So, out of say 15 options, I'll ask you to rank your top five in order of preference.

Then those preferences are assigned points. Your first preference gets 1 point, your second preference gets 1/2 point, our third preference gets 1/3 point, and so on. These are added up from all the votes.

Then I see which one got the fewest points and eliminate it. If anyone had ranked that at a higher reference than fifth place, all of the preferences below it get bumped up, receiving as many points as it would if you had ranked it at that place. So say you really liked Swords and ranked that as your first preference, but would be pretty happy with Guns so you ranked that second. If Swords gets knocked out of the running, Guns gets bumped up to your first preference. Things are successively eliminated until there are only two left, which then go into a runoff. The winner of that becomes the theme for the contest.

The problem is that, since I don't ask people to rank all the options, any one person's preferences are not wholly expressed and might get lost when things start getting eliminated; though there's no guarantee that it would have ended differently, there's a chance. However, the second round of voting in the runoff allows everyone to at least express their preferences between the top two choices from the first round of voting. A better solution would be for everyone to rank every preference and then do an instant-runoff, but that's tough when there are a lot of options.

Anyway, it might sound complicated, but I'll ask you to rank your preferences twice, that's all.

While we're on the subject of rules, however, I'd like to stress that this is NOT how the winners of the actual contest are chosen; I just take your ranks as is and then find the winners out of that; no points are redistributed if your preferences get knocked out.

My reasoning went like this: since there can only be one theme winner and there is a risk of splitting votes between similar themes, there's good reasons for me to choose a consensus winner.
