I think the biggest problem with this game is the networking system.

I could care less about Ubisoft being attached to it, and the microtransactions don't seem stupidly cancerous, but when I keep getting errors out of nowhere and people keep disconnecting, it's an issue.

A shame too, since when it is stable, I never notice any lag.

So apparently the devs have said there is no MMR and matchmaking is based on total exp gained. So if you don't "main" a character you are fucked in 4v4 and they just assume if you put enough hours into the game you are "good" when you could literally only do the daily bot matches and level up fast as hell. This is killing the game faster than the shitty servers and matchmaking. Hope the game doesn't die too fast.

Should exp/steel rate in bot matches be nerfed or should it be buffed in pvp?

I'm getting so much more steel doing bot eliminations because the matches start instantly and each match takes like 3 minutes.

That's it. I'm sick of all this "Equal to Viking Weaponry" bullshit that's going on in the For Honor system right now. Katanas deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.
I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana.
Japanese smiths spend years working on a single katana and fold it up to a million times to produce the finest blades known to mankind.
Katanas are thrice as sharp as European swords and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a longsword can cut through, a katana can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a katana could easily bisect a knight wearing full plate with a simple vertical slash.
Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Samurai and their katanas of destruction. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the katanas first because their killing power was feared and respected.
So what am I saying? Katanas are simply the best sword that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the For Honor system. Here is the stat block I propose for Katanas:

All attacks are unblockable
Deals 50% stamina damage to the target
Deals 40% max health damage to target
Causes bleed for 70% of target's max health
Has 30% chance to instantly kill target

I'm nearly prestige 3. The only issue I really have with lawbringer is that he can't confirm any damage besides parry. If shove went into literally anything and long arm gave you a heavy I think he would be fine.
