They're rare, but there are some nice PKs out there especially in the team modes. I had one that always had my back in Dominion. Dude was everywhere capping points and helping.

I had another in 1v1 actually stay after getting his ass kicked, talking about how he struggles with e.g. Warlord's zone because he gets confused with the animation as it makes him think it's attacking left when it hits right. So we played until he wrapped his head around it.

most people are too lazy to deploy their assets so they get spread over all the fronts, this is why faction war is a meme

when one faction owns a large amount of territory there is more land to defend and attack while the other factions has less land to concentrate their defense and attack on, so unless the faction population is overwhelmingly different the balance of power just switches around

But not really though. Right now both the knights and vikings have 7 territories on the front while the samurai have 6. That shouldn't be enough to make much of a difference. Also having your assets spread out is terrible and not helpful in any way. 1.5k assets spread over all fronts is basically nothing.

depends on your mouse. Something to do with DPI/sensitivity vs sens of in game guard. Some people report it flies all over but mine is fine.

If you have to/want to use a controller, it makes it easier to gb tech at least by rebinding it in the files. Still have to face button to dash/feint and dpad for feats, which is slower than m/kb.

Pretty much.

Everybody should have some reliable way to damage somebody who just sits there waiting for them to attack.

I came to FH from Souls PvP, and it had a similar problem. Back in Demon' Souls, every weapon had at least one attack that was too fast to be reacted to. That's a good thing, because if your opponent decides to play reactively, you can punish them by only using your unreactable attack(s).

Then Dark Souls came out, and everything got a lot slower. As a consequence, entire weapon classes went straight to shit-tier. Heavy weapons were basically useless vs. good players, because you had 0 attacks that couldn't be avoided and/or punished on reaction.

There's a bit more to it than just "you literally can never deal any damage to a good player ever" but this gets the general point across.

Sometimes it backfires though and I get thrown instead and I get pretty mad

I love playing as the Warden but my god the Shoulder Bash 50/50 is such cancer.

I hate that it exists and I have no idea why the Devs thought making an unblockable cancelable into a throw was a good idea.

If that was gone Warden would be brilliant.

Every other class definitely needs major speed buffs to their lights, if that doesnt happen high level play will get very boring.

I have effective internet. However, certain complications make it so connection errors while queuing on anything that isn't 1v1 are an incredibly common occurrence. Additionally I am unable to host games, for some reason people are just unable to find them. And lastly, when I try to queue with friends, I am almost always dropped out.

So it isn't just me? I mean a vast majority of my matches are against wardens. I thought something was wrong with me. The top lights, the zone attack mixups, the shoulder bash being nigh-undodgeable, the shoulder bash being canceled into gb followed by double lights.

Is he really OP? What the fuck do you call him? Is he extremely popular because he's so strong? I honestly can't think of another hero whose kit is as powerful as his is and I almost always get destroyed by their constant light taps and harassment. They just sit in top stance all day and pepper you with lights because they're all lightning fast and virtually unpunishable. Same for shoulder bashes/gb mixup.

One faction gets pushed in, pushes back hard and wins a ton of ground, then gets pushed back again

It's got this weird rubber band like effect where it's impossible to hold a lot of ground very long, the only time the faction map matters is the very last one before end of season rewards

it sure was an intelligent design decision to put skirmish and elimination into the same matchmaking pool and then create daily quests that require you to play a certain one of those modes. And when you inevitably get into the one you don't need even though you selected priority queue for the other mode you are trapped in a 2 minute loading screen before you can quit.

I HAVE DISCOVERED THE 4v4 elimination META. Just run away and grab a buff when a new round starts, if you immediately run they won't catch you in time, most people are retarded and will chase instead of grabbing their own buff. If they do happen to run away for their own, you'll be much closer to another group fighting, run in and 2v1. This also has the added benefit of avoiding anyone who attempts to bait you into environmental kills, as the game typically spawns each of you on one side of a major obstacle like a bridge with holes or geysers between.

So how long do you guys think till our own community kills dominion?
