Hey guys. Sitrep: no noteworthy progress, unfortunately. Work's been busy as all hell thanks to a few members of staff leaving, and what little free time I'd normally have has been taken up with paid commissions for print work as well as preparing for my visit to England next week.

I've spent a few half-hour sessions here and there trying to block out some of Bump's facial features, but unfortunately nothing meaningful has happened yet. I have had a poke at getting the rest of her body in a print-worthy state, however - it shouldn't take too much to get her fit to produce when the time comes. I just feel guilty as all shit for not keeping you guys updated with progress and happenings.

You deserve better, and after I'm done with my trip, I resolve to do right by you. March is gonna see some major fucking changes to my work ethic, and I hope you glorious fuckers won't be disappointed.

On another note, what exactly does everyone here think of Sonic CD? I finally got around to trying it and I absolutely love the aesthetic and music, but the level design doesn't feel all that fun to me. Maybe I need a different approach, I know it's all more exploration-based but it doesn't feel like there's any momentum at all and there's a lot of weird specific "don't fuck up or die" segments that have me crying. It's still pretty fun but I hear "best 2D sonic game" thrown around a lot, and I wouldn't say I'm feeling it.

I hate that they're releasing Silver a this time. I love Silver, but it'd be the first statue I'd buy and it's a huge hassle to arrange everything to have it delivered to me and there's a chance it might not even arrive at all, so I'm not sure if I want to go through all that just for this one. If I had already done it before and had a good experience I'd be more favorable to order.

Favorite human characters in Sonic?

I don't know why I like Maria so much. She doesn't even have much personality besides being kind. I guess her being the reason Shadow still have some good in him before Amy and Rouge resurface them might be it.

I did like some of the human characters from sonic X, Topaz and Rouge have a nice sistermance. If they feel the need to have a human representative an adult female GUN agent would be cool.

The only backlash I can think of was his portrayal in sonic lost world. He comes across as an ass sometimes.

also I would say Knuckles was the character that started the 'shitty friends' thing. Tails is a side-kick so he doesn't feel forced whereas knuckles was the first character to e introduced for a purpose but ended up sticking around and making cameos.
