How do I perform God of Wind 3? It just seems impractical to use during a combo. I can manage parry fine at times but not GoW3.

Lowstance quick attack is best for stacking regardless of the weapon but 2kat puts all others to shame. Random slices and windstorm does fine at this as well as dealing good damage but they can leave you vulnerable.
Outside that learn stancedancing/dodgepulsing/pulse II ontop of learning what skills lead into others.
Best case scenario you'll always have ki, almost always have the next swing damage buff, and be on the move in Iframe dodges that mess with tracking.

God of wind fucks up humans and cherry blossom fucks up yokai for ki damage and they're really the only skill you have to match to enemy types.

Other than that make sure your 2kats have a decent elemental score +15 is bare minimum now that you're in NG+.

Is it worth it for me to put 12 in body and 13 in skill to wear the Iga Ninja sets?

I'm a 1kat user, don't use ninja skills much except for the occasional catrops or kunai.

I think this is the case. The amount of weight you get from stamina/strength falls off incredibly quickly. It's perhaps possible to get under while having a heavy set bonus using the -1 set requirement nagatama and substituting the heaviest piece for a light piece, though. I'm considering that for when I eventually decide to use an axe/hammer for achievements/titles.

Not sure how to distribute my stats now as a 1kat user.

I've got everything to 10, with Heart at 15 and Spirit at 25 for the bonuses. Where now should I focus my points? I remember seeing people recommend not going over 15 with Heart but I don't know where to go next.

If you're ten across the board you should first use a book of reincarnation to get rid of dex and magic.
Keep spirit at 25 because it doesn't need to be higher than that.

Heart should rest at around 25, body at 20, skill at 20, stamina at 25 and strength can stay at around 15.
After that pump heart and skill up till they're at 30.

Cell on the op left has a tunnel that you will in all likelyhood miss with a Kodama at the end.

Also if you idn't know you can throw a bomb and blow up th eoild barrels to destory walls here and there.

I've been playing quite a lot and I've only just got to the last mission. I haven't really struggled on anything and thought I was going quite fast but obviously not since most people in this general seem to have finished the story already.

I am doing all the side missions and don't move onto the next region until I have found all the kodamas and done the sub-missions first though.

Yeah. My first run through regular ng was kusarigama and dual swords so I naturally had a shit ton of ninjutsu points. Ninjutsu genuinely feels horrible if you're not like full up on unlimited ninjutsu and spamming bombs or whatever. Nothing feels good to use, nothing feels useful.

I now have dex at base level and had enough hairs to get all the evade/dash ki usage passives so I'm perfectly happy with no dex investment. Just feels worthless.

As you walk into the first room with the Amrita Liquid that spawn the elemental heads.
Towards the second shrine there are stair going up in a room with a giant Crawler and a smaller one.
You'll see the oil crates in the room, just thrw the bomb and walk in the hole it makes.
Go left and in an open cell the kodama stands next to a chest.

kunai deal pretty okay damage for throwables (inb4 use rocks, they are slower, do less and kunai are dirt cheap anyway)

Improvised projectile can be useful, chance to return ammo on headshot is okay as well
Fast run scroll for being sanic
Catwalking for backstabbing stuff (which is a ninjutsu skill as well)
Makibishi and quick-change are pretty self-explanatory
Nice passives as well like more sacred water, more elixirs and more ammo, passives for guns as well if you want to shoot people
Barehanded parry is pretty fun, barehanded buffs as well

I had no problems with it. Got to NG+ today after playing the entire game with heavy armor and C agility. Only magic I used was to summon spirit guardian. Felt like the game was way too easy, really. If heavy armor is shit then I can't imagine how easy I would have thought it was if I'd played with anything else.

I sincerely doubt it. Strength gives next to nothing, and stamina constantly drops off as you level it. I haven't tested specifically, but I'd imagine that even if you could reach 30%, the sheer amount of stamina you'd need wouldn't be worth the trouble. A isn't that much better than B. really. I wouldn't say tank, but even really bad situations wouldn't blow me up in a single mistake, and I could get swiped a few times before needing to heal. Only really works with axe though, since it gains damage from the stat and strength sucks anyway. Took Todo for more damage per piece of heavy armor equipped and +5 health per point of stamina so no need to level body either. There might be a bug with that too, because supposedly stamina is supposed to give +10 health per level after you reach 100, but I get +19 compared to body's +20. Weird.

I would guess the set is playing around the ki pulse stat. When you actually connect with an enemy, your ki pulse starts with a chunk pre-loaded resulting in faster recovery. Skill contributes heavily to this stat, and strength half as much. I'd guess the last of that set bonus is adding another 30% to that, meaning as long as you're actually comboing an enemy, you should be able to ki pulse crazy well and fast.You're never gonna be dodging around like crazy, you're just managing your ki.

Keeping strength is good because if you use handcannons and axes it increases the damage on those.
