I assumed his movie rights were over at Fox thus meaning he was restricted from appearing in Marvel games post-CoC.

Well for starters, Marvel has the rights to any and all of its characters for video games/action figures/etc. Fox only owns the movie rights. Marvel chooses not to use characters that other studios have the movie rights for so that they don't give those films free advertising.

There was some serious lag near the end of the Ultron Event, probably because every item they had that dropped stuff was animated.

I ended up sending basically every non-ultron/waifu/regular game character to SHIELD just so they weren't all walking around. Pretty good so far, although the campus is a bit sparse now.

Hackanon here, my computer blew up so I'm not gonna be able to mod anything while I'm waiting for parts. Unfortunately, I lost the list of functions to edit and how to edit them. Fortunately, it's not that hard for someone else to recover them and take over while I'm unable too.

Is there anyone willing to do so? It's not that hard, you'll just need a copy of IDA Pro x64, BinDiff, and a hex editor (HxD). You'll also need a way to extract the APK from your phone so you can get an unmodded library, you can use Airdroid or APK Manager for that.

So in Airdroid under Large Files I see something called MARVEL_Aven...ed-signed.apk, I assume this is what I'm looking for because the other one looks like your modded one I downloaded. Alright, I have the apk on my computer, ended up making an account on airdroid because I didn't want to spend that much time trying to find a way to figure out how to get it off my phone, so I just used my throwaway email for it. So now that I have the apk on my computer, what's the next step?

Open the APK IM 7-Zip or WinRAR, whichever you're using. Find the libmarvel.so file. I think it's in the lib folder, then whatever folder is in that. Extract that file from the APK. Repeat this for the other APK. So you should have a libmarvel.so from the original APK, and one from the v2 APK posted in this thread. Name them differently so you know which one is which.

Load up IDA, and open up either of the libraries to decompile it. Set it as ARM Big-endian I believe. The other should be ARM_ Little-endian, I just can't remember what letter _ is. Hit OK, and wait until it finishes decompiling, should take about 5-10 minutes depending on your computer. Do the same with the other library.

Alright, I have both versions loaded up in two separate IDA programs, they are not separate tabs in the same program, and both are being run on ARM Big-endian. I also have them running on the idaq64 version of the program, if that will effect anything.

Anyway, once the decompiling is done, close the program and you'll get asked if you want to collect trash and some other random shit. Just hit OK so you get each library as a database file. Once that's done for both, install BinDiff, i think it'll also ask you to install some Java SDK. Once that's done, open up IDA, find the BinDiff plugin (I think the shortcut is Ctrl+F6 but I'm not too sure), and set it to find the difference between the two database files you now have. This will probably take a while, like an hour or so. Once that's done, you'll get a list of every function in the library and whether it matches the other library. A 1.00 is a match, anything less than that means there's a difference. At the bottom, you should have the ones that don't match. Should be 12 functions I think, they're generally highlighted red.

These are the ones to edit, so copy these into a Pastebin and link it here so I can confirm whether it's the right ones or not.

Took a few tries to get the IDA to recognize the two databases without giving me shit for some reason about the one from the normal database. Currently its Performing diff and Not Responding, but it said that before it said that it was Performing diff so I assume it's working, just taking it awhile.

Save these functions, they're the ones that will be edited for each new Play Store update. The functions affect cost and character bribing somehow clash with power attacks in boss fights, which is why I upload two versions for the same screen size. What you'll need to do is load up the modded library on IDA, and find the location of these functions in it. Write down the location, then look up that location in HxD. For the first three functions I've listed, I only edit the first eight hexadecimal bits. Actions and cost should start with 01, and bribes should be 00.

For the others, it's 12 bits long, or C in hex. I think they too start with 01, but I'm not too sure.

What you'll need to do at this point is just find the location of the function, and then replace the first X characters with what's in the link. So if you start with Bpc::CharacterAction::isComplete(void), move to the left pane, hit Ctrl+F, type in

and it'll find the function. IDA will tell you it's located in

for this library version. Write this down, repeat for the other functions. Once you've done this, load up the unmodded library in HxD, and go directly to whatever function you're trying to edit, or in this case 00EC7400. Then, replace the first X bits with whatever is on the Pastebin. So for this function, replace them with

DON'T INSERT, highlight and replace. Do the same with the other functions and whatever's written down for those.

Once you're done with all the functions, save it, stick it back in the APK where you found it, sign it (I used ZipSigner in the Play Store, default settings), and you've now got a modded library.

There's a new update, so you can try it with that. I'll probably go out later to get a new computer since it turns out the old one isn't worth fixing, so it's up to you if you want to try modding it or not bothering.

You won't need to do any comparing. All you'd have to do is get the updated version, extract the library, decompile it. Once that's finished, search the new library for the functions, get their locations, then edit in the mods. Repack, sign, upload, done.

Just before I lead, I assume that I should be looking for these functions under the exports tap in IDA, but in the function window I see theres a .plt and a .text files with the same names, and the one under exports uses the place (ie the lines that look like 00EC7400) of the .text file as where it is, does that make sense, I'm asking if I should trust the .plt or .text line?

You shouldn't be getting more than one result if you copy in the function name directly. What will probably be easier is, copying in the function name into their search, then right clicking the only result you'll get and copying that to a text file. You'll get the function name, location, length, and some other junk.

Start at replacing whatever address it says the function is at. If it says it's 01319B94, then in HxD hit Ctrl+G, type in 01319B94, it'll take you to that exact address, then highlight whatever it is you need to replace, and copy that in.
