If you've played DFO, a lot of things (movement dimensions, reliance on spacing, etc.) are pretty much the same as that

But you also have the ability to burst, anime fighter-style, meaning you can get out of combos every so often once it's off cooldown

One thing I've noticed that makes-or-breaks matches is whiff punishing, because against a good player if you whiff your super and don't have a spare burst to save yourself it's probably GG

HP seems to be pretty beefy though, rounds last a long time, and every match has two rounds to it so they can get pretty lengthy if both players are evenly matched

So far I'm not sure if I'd call it GOOD, but it's definitely at least fun

I've played it a little under 200 hours as pretty much one character and just got to endgame more or less. You can find dungeons surprisingly fast at the right time of day. But it is that kind of game where PvE raiding content is how you mostly advance your character past leveling and it's not perfect.

It's not that hard I suppose, was able to do it as a schoolkid, rip my old pics tho. It should be pretty big for being stable for months, we had a 30L one. Shouldn't be placed near window. Bacteria and light keep water translucent. The easiest grunt is nicely boiled pebbles from your local bank/shore. Water... for water it would be the best to ask for 2-3L of old water from someone's cycled working aquarium, not sure how to do it from scratch. Your main water should be heated to ~80 and left alone for 2-3 days for crap like Cl to evaporate. Then you pour your old water, some of the that another one for maybe 1/4 of volume and root your plants, they don't have actual roots, you just fix them in place with pebbles. Cover with glass light the light, maybe unleash some snails, wait. Meanwhile your super simple basic first try fishes like 10 guppies sit in a bucket to see if they are healthy enough. Water will be still crappy looking. Then put it all together, lights on, bubbler on, in one or two days water should stabilize to the perfect state. Done. We washed it from green crap like once per 6 months, complete with half-water changing, don't listen to fags who change water every given week, they do something wrong.

What if there was an MMO where instead of just having a generic DPS role for raids or other content; there was specific subroles of that class you'd need to overcome specific challenges?

For example; some DPS deal magic damage or have armor piercing, and you need one of each to overcome the strong defenses of certain mobs. The same also could happen for tanks; some tanks are good at blocking and armor, while others ward and absorb magical damage. Without both you would get obliterated.

I think it's a lot of fun. You get to be invincible.

To be quite honest, family, I almost exclusively play healers and tanks now because it's a lot easier to get groups that way, but I also really enjoy the playstyle.

I think it's more the fault of the MMO developers though, since most games seem to have more DPS classes then anything else. Plus you know how many edgelord kids see an Assassin class or a Warlock class and just have to play it over the glorious knight or priest classes.

You place your flee market rag in predestinated places of each town. It consists of shop license bought from a bank npc and shop bag which is sold in general store and otherwise is your usual inv bag. Also to host it, you may sit here yourself, place your pet (whole pet function will become unavailable), or buy an npc brownie from the same bank npc. Total shop costs = license and brownie. Usually people sell cheapo stuff in Dunbarton and the rest in Belvast. Shopping channels are different on each server, check your ch1.
For the premium users there are stockpile "houses" available to rent which are basically their permanent shops in separate channel areas, those are pretty much soft subscription. There are search boards in every town to look through those houses' stuff with direct teleport function, but with the town square player shops you go and physically click on them. There's a search window in pets' interface, with the area of detection about of battle one or so, anyway your pet will run to the shop with "ingot" if there's some nearby.
Housing shops are nice for beginner players because premium players throw here their daily small things like +2 def or prot accs or hp regen potions for pennies, those could be useful. Housing board, search with no key word and sort by price to found those.

If you overgrind you'll quit in one month or faster, there's no competition anyway. It's a chill slowass game. Also storyline progression will make you want to learn more skills by itself. Like - AoE would be cool, what about some crowd control or nicely damaging range and so on. There are tons of ways to buff too.
Reset your skills before training - it's free under lvl1000 - and most of it will be tolerable, a lot of skill want you to use the skill on stronger evemy and skills give you stats. Some of the requirements are hidden, but fuck that, look into wiki and do the most rewarding ones first.
The best way to make money for a newb is to sell event drops day one after maintenances+Friday.

Imagine an MMO where, even at level one, the basic monsters were too powerful to solo so everyone would need to group to level their characters.

Supports are instantly useful. Grouping is inherent to the gameplay, no bad habits or forcing people to have alternate builds for solo or raid content because ALL the content is raid content.

There are 3 races, Humans, Elves and Giants.

Humans is balanced race, good at everything but not great at anything.

Elves are the game's niggers, they move faster, they shoot 2 arrows per attack instead of 1 and they are proficent with magic.

Giants are the brute force, skills like windmill that is an AOE attack to surrounding enemies have a range bonus due to their size, they have OP skills like wind shield and they are overall stronger than the other 2 races, they can also wield a 2 handed sword in 1 hand and a giant shield on the other, and can use the "charge" skill without a shield.

Well, game penalizes you for being a jack of all trades since some skills have requirements like "defeat a really strong opponent", if you have too many skills you habe high stats, high stats means you are quite strong, being strong means you have to find STRONG enemies to fill those requirements, so just ranking everything as you go is not a good idea.

You can learn ALL skills but racial ones, but you need to be smart and rank what you need or you will have trouble in a near future.

Its a pet, you could get many of them, on summon that takes 1 second, the cloud heals you, nearby allies, increases your stamina regen and sleeps nearby enemies, so yeah healing is useless now.

The limiting thing in the game is ability points, and you can have two completely different strategies for that: people "expert" all the talents just to harvest milestone AP rewards, and people rush with rebirthing and leveling, because levels grant APs as well. The catch is the game doesn't offer free skill resets after lvl1000. So that folks do now (there were no milestone APs till recently) is training things in store reusing their tiny AP pool and after that they begin real leveling. Also, without level+age resetting rebirth (you still can rebirth to change your talents!) your level is capped 200, so no reason to worry about accidental over-leveling. Fuck in the end it's really easy to overstrain in this game.
