I fought him in the sorties with Ivara. Just jump and prowl right away, its usually enought. If you want to go this route, you can also use a fucking specter and never have to worry about going out of invisibility. Or take advantage that ruk's vulnerability is radiation (if i remember correctly) and trow some rad proc on the heaviest units in the field and just let ruk fight it while you shoot him.

I think it is because it is a weapon that is good for people that are just starting out and lack a lot of mods. Better to slap a bane of grineer mod on it than to leave the slot empty if you have energy to spare.

The original Tenno were the ones that resulted in the prototype warframe suits being made. i.e. the original Ember was not a kid, it was a humanoid test subject which after exposed to the void and technocyte manifested a form of pyromancy.
The tweenage Tenno came much later, after the war with the Sentients had already began. For the moment the Corpus seem to be the only major faction that doesn't have any first hand knowledge of the tater tots. Even the Grineer have known all along and Worm talks pretty casually about our existence when berating the Fortress work staff.

Some of Worm queen's dialogue suggests that even Kuva fortress Grineer don't necessarily know what Kuva's for and it's on a need to know basis.

I imagine the Kuva Grineer do know about Operators though at least. But if even they're left out on some things, all Grineer not part of that group probably know even less.

Chain of command, with tons not even knowing anything about the queens for that matter? Wasn't there a line somewhere about how they "actually exist" or something. I'm a little fuzzy on that. But yeah, I doubt grineer at large know, I also doubt DE has even decided who knows what.
