I don't play Johanna, but I do play Diablo plenty. He's one of my few level 7's.
For DPS, I got Raynor even though I can try and continue playing Valla. I find Raynor more fun for some reason.
I was also thinking of getting Tychus, but I do have Raynor, Thrall and Valla. Tychus might be my thing since I do love the Assassin/Specialist stuff.
Sgt. Hammer as well was a choice of mine but I don't have her currently.
Gul'dan and Chromie interest me the most from the mages, but Chromie is pretty difficult, especially against mobility obviously. Jaina doesn't seem bad, but she just feels boring.

Starting to get better at Lucio. More and more I realize I should just stay on healing beat, keep people high up, and only switch in to speed boost to chase an absolutely certain kill or leap from the enemy's killbox.
Also, Sound Barrier is a fucking trap since a one second delay is bullshit and so easy to be knocked out of.

Well, that's primarily because fanboy culture and mobas go hand in hand. Most people who play mobas are already entrenched in the vile ditches that are the other mobas and refuse to try anything else - scoffing at even suggesting to try something a bit more casual like HOTS.

Kharazim's light rework came with the Varian patch and he's barely been touched since.
The rework pretty much left him where he started, in the "eh, he's ok" camp. He deals good damage in a two-support comp and holds most of his weight in a solo-support comp, but he's not Malfurion (currently wearing the "does everything" crown) and most people prefer Morales, Auriel, or Rehgar for more consistent healing. But he's not F tier or anything.

I don't think stuns are very fun to play against in general. Really doesn't help that right now every game has Valeera with a 1.5 second stun followed by a 2 second blind to instantly fuck over your carry or Varian with a 1 second stun followed by a 2 second taunt. I think characters like Diablo or Aurial are at least fair about it since they actually have to work to stun someone.

But stunlocking people is more important than ever because of all this mobility creep going on. Samuro started the trend of invisibility being invincibility plus mirror image cleansing him of all debuffs and DoT plus blade style giving him a 6 second blink. Valeera has incredibly high HP and mobility and you only have a split second to do anything to her since she's untargettable in smokescreen. Now that Lucio is out if you can't chain stun the enemy he's just going to walk away from you, Lucio himself is impossible to kill unless he runs into the middle of your team like a retard since he's immune to anything but stun while wallriding.

Just reducing Val stun to 0.75 and instead slowing/reducing attack speed by x% for 1.5 seconds would be more fitting and healthy.

Varian should only have 6 seconds CD on the slow by default, but upgrading it to a stun increases CD to 10 seconds.
Much fairer, basically like a short range Butcher Charge without unstoppable.

Taunt is fair, no complaints there.

Tyrande's stun is a skillshot with a hefty delay, it should stun for 1 second at the very least.

No complaints about other stuns in this game.

It is a completely different game. The whole system works differently, with carries, supports whose primary role is warding and the fact that teamfights are less prominent.

Of course stuns can be longer in an environment when 5 man deathball doesn't start until end game. A point and click stun in a teamfight over curse or a chest isn't punishing positioning of some guy who walked too far forward in lane.

It is just punishing a guy for picking a melee squishy and trying to fight. Mura's stun? Can't go through the tank, meaning you were in the wrong place if you got hit. Doesn't apply to Charge.

After 10? Absolutely not. He actually has more hp than most warriors, parry is a phenomenal defensive ability and banner laters comes on top.

The only real drawback is that he's weak before level 4 and still not that great before 10, but this is hots, unless you're playing blackhearts, early game deficits mean almost nothing.

Varian right now is the counter to tons of things, with his stun and his level 13 talents (which invalidate a lot of the roster).

That's why he is so good and popular. I don't need him gutted and he genuinely doesn't affect games at my MMR, but I understand that he may need some tuning.

As for DOTA2 being perfect, it certainly has a huge audience, but there is a reason I play this instead. And trying to turn this game more into that game will hurt its existing audience (scrubs) while not moving anyone away from their "e-sport".

Cleansing the charged will remove the stun and most likely waste the taunt because Prot Varians are like machines in chaining them and ignore the unstoppable on their target.

Really? His shield shredder means the heroes whose kits depends on it are useless. Mortal strikes ruins any sort of vital built in sustain that keeps heroes like Illidan or Butcher from exploding immediately. CC or mobile assassins are absolutely terrible for Rexxar though. Rexxars damage is secondary to surviving, you only really go in to clean up or when you're sure you won't get nuked.

I like playing him but he's not really worth the effort past QS imo, especially since Misha seems to be really unreliable now.

valeeras burst isn't even that great. Zeratul and Nova are worse. Nova is easily counterplayed though by shielding yourself through minions.

Also: nothing is truly invisible in this game, there's a slight shimmer when someone's stealthed around you. Its not very visually striking, but its there and usually you can make it out if you anticipate it.

The best way to counter stealth is to not enable it. Its annoying for you to take that risk into account with every action, but its even more annoying for the valeera who's stuck with a champion that relies on catching people.
The best way to learn counters is to play the champion yourself, then figure out why you suck with him. For example Valeera has no gap-closers while stealthed, which you can also abuse.

Unlocking heroes is similar to most f2p games, I like the method as it gives you soemthing to work towards.

Community is pretty good compared to other games, but thats subjective.
