Started and nearly completeld 6, 9, Conquest, and TRS, but fizzled out because of lack of free time and never bothered to pick them back up.
Started but didn't get through a ton of 12 or Revelation.

Some quests require you to use a specific unit type, for example there's a quest right now for a red tome user.
Keep 1 copy, of the lowest * if you really want to send a bunch home for feathers, just in case some quest asks you to use a type that's not part of your main team(s).

As for what you can do with them, you can send them home for feathers or fuse them with a duplicate, which grants bonus sp and, if of the same rarity, a small stat bonus (stat bonus is lost upon increasing * rating).

Finished 7 a long time ago, finished 6 recently (as in literally last night) after this game rekindled my interest in FE and just about to start 8.

I also played and loved most of 4 but I got a chapter or two away from finishing when the computer I had it on got wiped. I do plan on going back to it to play it to completion, but at the time those long ass chapters were too much for me.

Never had a 3DS for the newer games.

Help me out with my final team /feg/. I know for sure I'm keeping Tharja and Azura since they synergize so well together to 1 round units. For the last 2 slots I'm not entirely sure. I was thinking of using Nowi for the 3rd slot to tank and maybe Takumi or Julia for the 4th. I also almost have 20k feathers so I could promote one of my other units into 5*. I was thinking maybe Sharena, Catria, Nino, or Robin for that. Sharena would synergize amazingly with Tharja to make her into an absolute nuke, from what I've heard Catria is a solid physical unit with armored blow and 2 turn Luna, Nino is pretty much a green version of Tharja but my Tharja is +atk so I don't think I need 2 buff eating units, and Robin is there to be anti-Takumi although Tharja can easily take out Takumi in 1 round anyways. I was thinking that probably Sharena would be best since all of my units are magic damage save Azura, but she doesn't do much other than dance and kill red units. Adult Tiki is also an option but I don't think she's really needed when I already have Nowi. I'm going to replace my Lyn since she's really not that great without dance support to proc Galeforce, but Tharja is a much better use of that, and I want to replace my Takumi since he's -atk +hp.

I've played a ton more than that but I always get bored near the end. I can't even explain it. For example I literally quit on Awakening and Birthright one level before the final boss and never picked them up again.
