D4-D2 is actually good players, but the ramp in skill is starting to get drastic here. Most chill of all of diamond, but don't expect rainbows and sunshine.

D1 are actually really good, but you wouldn't know because they all rage because they think they belong in masters/challenger/LCS team.

You can later of if it makes sense on your champion, but if you have Warden's Mail and you know how not to be a feeding retard, you're going to make every AD top laner extremely bored and frusterated because they won't do shit for damage, and attack speed slows are cancer.

Shitters like Riven can't resist diving tower at level 6, and they tilt off the planet when you have a surprising amount of armor that keeps you alive under tower and then they get demolished and subsequently lose lane.

Bonus meme: as soon as they die and provided you have survived with a lot of health, dive into the river, through their jungle and sneak into the lane bush between the two towers with your jungler. Gank and kill offending top laner as they shamefully walk back to lane (Does not work if their TP is up) This will make them rage quit 100%.

Deadman's Plate is really for huggernauts. You're paying for sexy stats and mostly movement speed. Randuin's is the superior tank item, but much more for purebred tanks that sacrifice damage. But does it really matter when you have superior stats, -crit damage, and a big slow?

Frozen Heart is even better for pure tanks, but not everyone makes good use of the mana, and a lot of poeple aren't interested in overcapping with the 20% CDR.
