The gear I used for T11 progression with AA and <wpsg> was basically the same, bwd literally only drops spirit gear and you LCd all the vanquisher tokens we got because "t11hc is better than t12 for fire mage".

What should I role? Don't wanna play tank, not sure I should play healer with my ping but am tempted to roll a NE Priest or Druid. Which is better in 4.3.4? Maybe could do Draenei Priest or Shammy or Pally?

Wow is fairly playable at ~300-350ms for PVE, even tank and healer.

Healer wise, Holy has strong throughput for reactive raid healing and ok tank healing capability, Disc can do both but its more proactive (and thus can be a bit harder with higher ping). Resto Druid both strong at Tank and Raid Healing, depending on how you spec your talent.

Sadly, I have no access to video right now and I struggle to find anything like "Immune effects such as Ice Block and Divine Shield will remove your Corruption: Malformation", only that corruption is not removed if you use Immune effects (but is removed if you die). Also, general advices of getting away from raid at 75%, though you better not be there already at 50%.

find out spell coefficients.
for example if you play mage, go up to the training dummies, cast 20 frostbolts in 0,100,200,... spelldamage gear
assume that frostbolt damage = (fixed initial damage + coefficient*spelldamage)*modifiers
since you know your spelldamage and the modifiers (curse of elements, talents, etc), you can figure out the initial damage and the coefficients for your spells through least squares or something compareable.
Now you can compare those values to the values you can find on archived classthreads and theorycrafting from your patch.
If they are totally different, you can report it to the devs and they hopefully will probably fix it.
If they won't fix it, take spells that aren't in the usual cookie cutter rotation, but have higher coefficients than they should have and try integrating them into your rotation.
If it's a dps gain, keep them in your rotation, if it's not don't.

on retail it was usually done by a whole theorycrafting community over a longer period of time, that knew exactly what the parameters for the respective spells were.
when there was a new patch that changed some spells, they didn't just throw everything overboard and came up with new rotations, but modified their old rotations.

That is kind of the situation you are in. Some spells are probably working correctly, some may have different spell coefficients or are mechanically not exactly the same. You have to find out if that makes them generally better or worse.
If it makes them better, try to see if having those spells in your rotation more, have a positive impact on your dps.
If it makes them worse - you know the drill
