The end of August was the last TCG banlist.

Banlists used to be every six months, then they switched to every three months (which was rather nice), and then TCG said fuck it and puts them out whenever they feel like it.

OCG still sticks to a nice every three month schedule though. Bless 'em.

A guy at my locals uses Burning Abyss Crystrons, it seems like a really powerful build for them. Getting all those Crystrons in the grave is how you make their plays happen, so it seems like a match made in heaven. Though personally I have no idea how they work.

Fusion is improved quite nicely, recent decks that rely on fusion spells have said fusion spells to have secondary effects (Metalfoes fusion, Eidolon Summoning Magic) or in the case of relying on polymerization, they have a whole bunch of recyclers that would make doing a fusion with that card just be a -1 as opposed of being a -3 or more at the verty least for a boss monster (shame that rituals have yet to get this)

Synchro doesn't need improvements, it needs ways to make it a strong mechanic WITHOUT masturbation like grinding T.G. Hyper Librarian's draw power, Tribute summoning, oh please we're about to get Mustard Peas the giga nigga of dracoslayers who can tribute summon himself with MONSTERS SPELLS AND TRAPS and domain monarchs are still deadly if they don't brick.

Ritual needs love but at the same time, last time Rituals got 2gud, Nekroz happened.
