Not really. She's setup initially to be CR heavy. It can be very easy to get high CR with her.

As for the assist you can see exactly who her skills were designed for just by looking at her skills. I don't believe I need to explain where she'll really shine.

She was already that, but guess what, without DR, any shot is deadly. Any striker with red CD stones is going to OHKO her, since she didn't get any extra HP. She has some chance of surviving the first shot if it wasn't a Sharr shooting and she active blocked, but even then, that is on the lucky side. You don't even need to be a galaxy player, I stop seeing Irre as soon as I enter diamonds, maybe even less.

If you compare to BT for example(also a 5* WW), she easily survives the first shot from any striker, and is the bane of thunder strikers. There is no reason to use Irre over almost any other 5* GK.

Elchitusa could be WW answer to Celus when she gets her EE. I wanted a WW disturb frontline player for a while now.

Last season my Beatrice/Baltheon front got a OHKO on about half of all matches from 2600-2800, and that was with either a normal 3-man front or when bringing in Kiki up to help out (and kiki is just a pass effect totem).

Replacing kiki as player #4 with disturb plus a big attack/crit rate totem could make a huge difference.

I don't doubt it, I used a double striker for the Shanti totem + a pseudo Presty paralysis counter. Beatrice could deal some pretty high damage with Neraizel pass. Especially when I changed to Dragon Bone and got 100% pen.

Beatrice wasn't exactly weak, just completely fucked by the meta, since Angela is her worst matchup, and for some time, Durangela was in 2~3 of the 4 tournament matches.

Beatrice at 100% pen OHKO most Angela on last season if she didn't have Duran protecting her.

Duran gives 20% more defense and -25% pen to the striker, so -40% defense and +30% pen from Elchitusa as a "4th man" should counter that nicely.

Duran's 20% attack power debuff is countered by Elchitusa's 10 to 50% attack and crit rate totem, as is Duran's 20% crit rate debuff.

The only thing Elchitusa can't counter-buff is Duran's 30% crit damage resist.

Even if it fails to OHKO, it will definitely be a 2-hit KO and an extra active pass never hurts.

Pretty good.

For the first time in like a year WW got a new 5* that people will actually use. (Cow, Xing, Jade etc are all permanently benched for most teams).

Presty paralysis got a well deserved nerf, and a lot of the less used GKs got a buff. Isillia getting a buff was the only questionable part as she was already really good.

Last 3 patches have shown that they are nerfing the top 1% of OP characters and buffing a good mix of bottom and mid tier players.

Sometimes they miss the mark (Felix nerf was not necessary a few patches ago) but overall it is promising.

The reason she's still the most used keeper after the nerf is what's inherently built in the game. To avoid power creep it takes a lot of investment to put into one character between leveling to 70 EEing and +160 it's a lot of resources so you can't always just up and switch gks if they get nerfed the next day or week. Nera's speed matters only once in the entire match (after the coin flip).

Elaine operates in the 110-130 AS range as well, which makes her fast enough to outspeed virtually any backline defender, but she also provides perfect offense and defense and becomes even more powerful as the match drags on.

Elaine is used on ~70% of teams while Nera is used on maybe 3% of them. There is no comparing the two. Even WW teams used Elaine over any other frontline WW player, at least until ace burst came around.

I've been using Leventor ace for Glaydes benefit and the pen, but I'm extremely tempted to switch to Lukas permanently, the AP and crit is so nice for Lev and midline.

I pretty much gave up on trying to win against WW teams in galaxy. I let it play out but if a win happens I get genuinely surprised.

As for that backline, I was going to pick up Asslad a little after next season starts. Would you say she really helps on your team?

Was between her and Glayde but I was under the impression Glayde needs Nikita and Asslad to really shine.

I've lost to shanti before on my climbs to galaxy but I've never once felt they were too much.

William with WoM and Lucid with her new passive/baltheon are the only strikers I get upset at seeing. I can still beat them but seeing William get 80% action bar back or Lucid getting 2k non active pass or 4k active pass is annoying.

I've ran Glayde with both Nerua/Askeladd/Hilde and Nerua/Askeladd/Nikita. The HP differential and overall durability difference between the two is staggering, but the double longpass suffers heavily against frontlines that Hilde would 100% break, while doing better against frontline traps (if Nikita holds the ball). Though, both lines are actually quite usable.

Leventor affection with no HP ace + Nerua/Askeladd gives about 3.2k HP if you have HP teamwork.

The same conditions with the double longpass line give about 4k. I've been adding Leventor ace on top for about 4.4k.

Askeladd is absolutely worth getting, she can clutch games unbelievably hard when it seems you're going to lose - the active chain is devastating. Unfortunately, her line totem is absolute garbage.

We had good balance prior to that patch where all sorts of setups were viable.
