With regards to VC, the answer to the question, "is my team good/should I reroll?" is best answered thusly: do you like the characters you are using? Unless you care about eSports, you can use whomever you like. Connect battles may require you to make some substitutions at 5* & 6* and some of the chapter bosses in the last few chapters, but you'll eventually roll most characters and have plenty to choose from as time passes. Whale v. whale isn't anything most people should give much consideration to when choosing their team members. Your team is perfectly good. You've got a good row distribution and while you're doubling up on dark elemental damage between Momiji and Hel, many things are weak to it so there's not much problem.

Tech levels at this point for reference and some thoughts.

I get the feeling a person who focuses standard armor first and goes into MT meatshields would have had better tanking in the end as evasion makes a hell of a difference.

Though Churblade is probably queen due to sheer offensive capability as raid is a lot of kill first or be killed and she can double as tank and DPS.

The rocky valley map was troublesome since the enemies had 4-2 scouting in their favor and a lot of rocket units including the boss. So it was hoping for bad RNG on the enemy's end.

The one thing I feel most deficient in at this point though is close range and targeting. If there's a tech besides manual I would take to 48 it's probably chassis. And I'm interested in pure evasion focused builds as well. The street raid LAVs dodge 1300+ targeting shots decently which feels absurd.

There's a significant imbalance between close range and long range tanks due to when skills proc though. LAVs and LTs have some plenty powerful skills, it's just they only activate during CQB mostly. While SPGs are all essentially nuke the enemy in shelling.

Tanky ATGs feel like they got the worst end of the stick though. Not enough armor to properly tank and not enough firepower or decent skills to deal big damage. Their targeting is also generally so ass that they miss anything that's not an enemy HT as well. Which means they're definitely not useful in Street raids as they're always full of LAVs. Really huge enemy meatshields are bruteforced better with sheer amount of SPG skillshots and fire rather than an ATG shot with slightly more PEN. There's also no guarantee they shoot a meatshield. Raid compositions in general are varied, but none I recall being entirely HT and ATG focused.

Well time to start working on getting all tanks.

Because that's when you unlock the third class. And beyond that it's 20 fragments per level. Sure, better combo attacks and a bit more stats are nice, but it's not worth it for limiteds.

Normally it's probably takes about 7 months since you only get 5 red shards and 5 rainbow shards from login every 28 days and I think you need 75 shards.

I pulled him at 4* early on and he's been sort of middling. Swap is alright to help move a tank around, but you're basically giving up a character action for +1 movement and occupying an adjacent space on the map. Obstruct is decent for protecting a ranged from getting hit by a melee, but even with +3 def passive he's still not very tanky. No special, either. I use him because I haven't pulled any other swords, but even then he rides the pine a lot.

It was pretty much flawed from the start. For newer players it can still be a pretty great and "early" source of Tears and Particles, everyone else can't help but laugh at the cost/rewards ratio. Glassy and Golden Minions are pretty much garbage nowadays, so it's laughable a boss kill still doesn't even guarantee a drop - especially since it's actually pretty hard on the higher difficulty.

I won't pretend everyone is able to farm Shinen, but when a 25 stam Shinen run provides me with

For the triple collab units:
Sakura - excellent starter unit. High damage with good leader skill. Second class abilities offers more movement at the expense of countering if you want to go that route.

Folcas - useless at 60, can masquerade as some kind of counter tank at 65 by taking the piercing damage passive on second job. Absolutely stone wall when third job is opened with two phydef+ passives. One of the best physical tanks in game

Yomi - super merchant if you have 3 jobs opened due to extra range, that is if you need a merchant. Bad otherwise due to low damage and no gems. If you want, can play around with a damage but no range build by putting the Samurai +damage/-speed passive on her.

Fan - Good damage range attacker with third job open. Cannon fodder otherwise.

Yeah, better save up and bet on a higher rarity. I wouldn't rely on the higher chance for the featured SR with the little change we're getting. But they sure went all out with keionbu with no breaks. At least I got the Ruka UR in the end, started farming quest gems right away and got lucky on my next roll. Now I want to see how would saving up for the guarantees go, so I'll hope they give us a break.

Don't think they're adding new story, but the quest renewal isn't until 24th, fortunately. Still a bit time left to do some gem farming.

The real pain is upgrading them to 6*. You need four 5* fodder to feed and most 5*s I have are all good so I dont want to sacrifice them.
