I might as well write up an autistic as fuck let's play as I do it, at least until the first roll.
So I start the game to narration of some bitch telling me what I want to do. Fine, whatever. It's voiced but there's no background music beyond [wind sounds]. There is then a lore dump I don't give a shit about because I don't care about this world or its people yet, having just opened the game, but it doesn't last too long. Then some dragon which I'm almost certain knowing the internet has a fuck ton of gay fanart starts talking to me about my dad or something. Options pop up and I get the immediate feeling that they will be just as meaningless as the ones in Fate/GO, considering they both say approximately the same thing. Exposition the fandragon continues talking about things I don't care about as if I should already know about them anyway. Apparently "I don't stop once I've made up my mind", which has already kicked me out of any sense of self insert I have. A sky ship blows up or some shit and (I) run into the forest to find something. All of a sudden a loli appears! I get description of said loli even though she's on the screen, which tells me the writer and scene animator don't talk to each other very much or they wouldn't have felt the need to be redundant. Exposition the furdragon is starting to get irritating already and I hope he fucks off before too long. Loli girl is being chased or something and asks me to help, and while I'd really rather not I'm some sort of hero I guess, because the dialogue options don't leave room for "okay, here you go". Then we get to the first fight.
Elements are a thing, and (I) am a playable character. So that's sort of neat. The battle system and sprites seem incredibly simplistic, however. Maybe /GO spoiled me with how much characters move, but these single sword swings while characters stand in place aren't very interesting. If charge attacks happen automatically that could also be a problem.
